From India’s first electric cruiser to Ducati’s latest Diavel, March is stacked with new bike launches

February treated us pretty good with all the launches. And this trend seems to continue in the new month as well. So here’s a list of all the two-wheelers that are expected to be launched in India in March:

Trident 660

While the bike is already out and about in the international market, Triumph will be launching the Trident 660 in India very soon. Moreover, the brand has already started accepting bookings for the Trident. Triumph has housed a triple-cylinder 660cc motor in the Trident and claims it to be a friendly machine for bikers progressing into the performance bike segment. We’ve covered all the details of the bike and you can read it here.

TVS Star City Plus

TVS has teased a new Star City Plus model on its social media pages. Considering TVS already launched the BS6-compliant bike back in January, the upcoming model could very well be a special edition. The bike will likely get new paint schemes to set it apart from the standard variant. However, no mechanical changes shall be made.

Kawasaki Ninja 300

Kawasaki will launch the BS6 Ninja 300 next week. Apart from a cleaner engine, the latest iteration of the Ninja 300 will get two new colours: one an all-black paint scheme and the other with a green tank and lower fairing. Apart from that, Kawasaki hasn’t changed much on the Ninja 300. Expect a premium of Rs 22,000 over the previous model.

Earth Energy Bikes

Mumbai based EV startup, Earth Energy, introduced India’s first electric cruiser, the Evolve R alongside the Evolve Z and Glyde Plus. Now, the brand has opened bookings for all three models. The token amount has been set to as low as Rs 1,000. We expect Earth Energy to launch the entire lineup sometime in early March.

Honda CBR650R

Honda is aiming to launch its entry-level four-cylinder motorcycle in the form of the CBR650R. The pricing is expected to be a bit high, around Rs 8.5 lakh-9 lakh (ex-showroom). Compared to the previous-gen model, the bike will get re-designed graphics all-LED lights, altered fairings and a new suspension setup from Showa.

Ducati Diavel & XDiavel Range

Ducati rolled in 2021 with the launch of the Scrambler range in India. Now, the Bologna-based two-wheeler brand is prepping to launch its cruiser range: Diavel and XDiavel. Both the bikes are expected to have three variants. The power output will be around 164PS for the former and around 162PS for the XDiavel.
