The legendary two wheeler company Bajaj Auto is speculating to make an investment of Rs 500 crores for enhancing its production capacity in Indian two wheeler market. According to the reports the huge portion of this investment will be used in upgrading the design of Bajaj’s most popular bike Bajaj Pulsar. According to Mr. Kevin D’sa, Finance President, Bajaj Auto, company plans to invest Rs 500 till the end of financial year 2013 as the part of its expansion plans.
Last year company had invested Rs 150 in expanding its production capacity. The new variant of Pulsar will be based on totally new technology representing the future look of upcoming Bajaj Bikes. The new Bajaj Pulsar is anticipated to hit the Indian roads by the end of December this year or during the beginning of January in 2012. According to the rumors the new Bajaj Pulsar will be upgraded with 250 cc engine and is expected to be priced close to 1.5 lakh. Bajaj Pulsar is considered as one of the most successful bike in 150 cc segment of bikes in Indian two wheeler market.
After grabbing the huge segment of 150 cc segment of Indian bike market Bajaj launched powerful versions of Bajaj Pulsar bikes in India as Bajaj Pulsar 135 cc, Bajaj Pulsar 180 cc and Bajaj Pulsar 220 cc. All these bikes carried the flag of Bajaj Bikes to new heights in Indian bike market. Recently Bajaj Pulsar was honoured with Hall Pride of the Bike Award 2011. And now with launch of new version of Pulsar Bajaj anticipates to repeat the same success history. The new changes introduced in forthcoming version of Bajaj Pulsar will offer more reliability, comfort, power and impressive looks. - reliable daily commuter with great mileageNeeded something dependable for daily city traffic that wouldn't eat up all petrol money. looked at a few other 150cc options but the pulsar 150 just felt like the right balance of price, low maintenance and that classic muscular look that never gets old. Honestly pretty smooth for daily running, engine has nice pickup in lower gears so overtaking in heavy trafffic is easy, getting a solid 45-50 km regularly, only slight downside is minor handle vibes past 85 kmph but for everyday city speeds, its steady and comfortable. Definitely 100 percent recommend it, if you want a reliable everyday bike with decent power and great fuel efficiency, maintenance is super cheap and spare parts are available anywhere. just a solid, no nonsense daily runner that gets the job done.Read More4
