New Bajaj Discover, sports commuter motorcycle, seen testing

Bajaj Auto, one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers of the country, had recently carried out the testing of an all new Bajaj Discover. This new Bajaj Discover has the potential to initiate a completely new bike series as was done by the 2012 Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS. The all new Bajaj Discover was spotted doing the testing rounds by some reporters and hence some of its notable features were revealed. Similar to the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS, the Bajaj Discover will receive a complete makeover in terms of style. It will also be a brand new model in the premium commuter segment where its positioning has been done. Some important details like the launching time of the motorcycle and the price range at which it will be available are yet to be revealed.

However, one thing is confirmed that similar to the Pulsar series, even Bajaj Discover is going to receive a large revamp.  Identical to the Bajaj Pulsar series of bikes, the Bajaj Discover has made use of latest technologies like the dual spark plug DTS-i ignition and the lower end torque enhancing Exhaustec feature over the exhaust. Hence, it is fair to anticipate that the next gen Bajaj Discover may even get some more good qualities from the latest range of all new Pulsars. As far as the design is concerned, the next gen Bajaj Discover is expected to have an identical headlamp as is in the present variant. Though there is a modification in the instrumentation console, changing it from the twin pod analog model to the digital layout. Further to add to the changes are a modification in the back suspension, where the twin gas filled shock absorbers have been replaced with a gas-charged monoshock unit. Bajaj Discover is further anticipated to have a different exhaust muffler.
