KTM 200 Duke on 24th Jan. Anticipations on Gen-Next Pulsar, rumored on 30th Jan.

Finally legendary auto manufacturing company Bajaj Motors has opened its cards for its highly anticipated bikes KTM Duke 200 and next generation Bajaj Pulsar by announcing their launch dates. According to reports, the first infant of KTM Bikes was supposed to be launched on January 4, 2012, but due to the ongoing Auto Expo during same time company had to postpone the launch date of Duke 200. However, at present Bajaj has not yet revealed any information regarding its price, booking, and delivery data. According to reports, all these matters will be disclosed on its official launch on January  24, 2012.

It is anticipated that Bajaj may launch KTM Duke 200 at a price tag of Rs. 1,60, 000. The reports also reveal that after launch of KTM Duke 200 on January 24, Bajaj may launch upgraded version of its highly awaited bike Bajaj Pulsar on January 30, 2012. As is known Bajaj Pulsar during its existence of 10 years has played a major role in strengthening Bajaj’s position in Indian two-wheeler market. As per the reports, Bajaj is conducting test rides of Bajaj Pulsar at its operational plant at Pune during the night so that it can be protected from the wandering eyes of onlookers before its official launch.

Although nothing much has been revealed about the features adorned in Bajaj Pulsar but it reported that its both front and rear brakes are integrated with disc brake application. As far as features and specifications of KTM Duke 200 are concerned, it is energized with 199.6cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled, 4-valve DOHC engine generating maximum power of 25.47 BHP at 10,000 rpm and torque of 19.93 Nm at 6800 rpm. Duke 200 is Bajaj’s variant designed in joint collaboration with Austrian company KTM that is making its debut in Indian two-wheeler market by launch series of KTM Duke bikes in Indian market.
