Kinetic Green, an electric two-wheeler brand popular for its electric moped e-Luna, has revealed plans to expand its product range. The brand has plans to launch a new family-oriented electric scooter that is expected to be launched in 2026.
As per reports, the upcoming electric scooter will be available in multiple variants with different battery capacities, ranging from 1.8 kWh to 3 kWh. The scooter will have a top speed of 80kmph and a large underseat storage. It will help the brand offer more options other than the Flex electric scooter, and the E-Luna from their portfolio. It will rival electric scooters from other brands like Ola Electric, TVS Motor and Bajaj Auto. The report also reveals that the company will soon be relaunching the Zulu electric scooter by the name of ‘e-Zu’.
Kinetic Green aims to achieve revenues of Rs 10,000 crore by 2030, with its two-wheeler products expected to contribute 60 percent of that. The report suggests that the company has no plans to enter the electric motorcycle market and will focus on expanding its E-Luna model lineup. It also mentions that the remaining revenue is expected to come from its three-wheeler business. The company’s partnership with the battery technology company, Exponent Energy offers fast charging options for its three-wheelers.
Kinetic Green is also building a new factory in Supa, Maharashtra, spanning 42 acres. It will have an annual production capacity of 10 lakh two-wheelers. Kinetic Green has promised that 40 percent of the employees will be women. The company has raised USD 25 million in Series A funding and is expecting additional investments of USD 15-20 million to help them reach their goals and expand their product line-up.
