Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India Limited has increased the power figures of its premium 150cc bike- CB Trigger by 0.54bhp. Now, the bike delivers 14.35bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm, which was 13.81bhp earlier. However, the peak torque figure remains unchanged with 12.5Nm coming at 6,500rpm. It seems like an effect of Suzuki Gixxer and new Yamaha FZ FI Version 2.0 that company thought to upgrade its product in respective competition.

Heart of the updated Honda CB Trigger is the same 149.1cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, however, the company has tweaked the internal geometry to derive more power. The bore and the stroke of the engine has been changed from 73mm and 47mm to 57.3mm and 57.8mm respectively. It changes the short stroke geometry of the motor to a square type and decreases the compression ratio from 10.5 to 9.5.

This is the only change in new CB Trigger and rest of the mechanical and design elements remain intact. It also retains the same carburetor type fuel system and gets the same 5-speed gearbox. Prices of the bike remains unchanges and it is still available in 4 colour options- Black, Pearl Sunbeam White, Pearl Siena Red and Meteor Green Metallic.

      Great Experience
Perfect for long rides, the engine is smooth, studied, and requires low maintenance. Thanks to Honda for producing the best engines. Last month, I took it on a hill ride, and the pickup was outstanding. No other can beat this.

I am using more than 6 years to feel very comfortable riding. I am getting a 45 mileage per ltr from Mumbai city and it is very good in safety due to dual disk brake and CBS.
