The rumours come to end tomorrow as Honda pulls the veil off its new premium bike
[UPDATE: The Honda CB350RS has been launched in India. Check out the details in our launch report.]

Ever since Honda teased its upcoming motorcycle, the internet is full of speculations of whether the new bike from Team Red will be an urban scrambler or a cafe racer. Well, Honda is all set to lay rest to all the rumours and speculations tomorrow by launching, what we think could be called the CB350RS. We expect the new bike to carry a price tag of Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
When it comes to styling, the only thing we know so far is that the rear end is different from the H’Ness CB350 and is void of any chrome bits. The exhaust also is a blacked-out unit. Another change is the new alloy wheel. Given that the bike is likely to be a cafe racer, expect a sportier riding stance on the RS. The bike is likely to come equipped with clip-on handlebars, slightly rear set footpegs and a flatter seat. However, for some reason the bike in the teaser image is shod with MRF Zapper Kurve tyres, which are dual-purpose tyres, not something we see on cafe racers.

The engine is likely to be carried over from the H’Ness CB350. The 348cc, air-cooled single-cylinder motor is quite impressive and has great refinement levels, about which you can read in our road test. As for the performance, it will likely continue to develop 21.07PS and 30Nm and may retain the same state of tune as the H’Ness.
Features like the bluetooth-enabled instrument console and traction control are likely to be carried as well. With the bike being launched under the brand’s premium arm, BigWing, the Honda CB350RS will be available across the BigWing dealerships only. The Honda CB350RS will be a fresh alternative to the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250.

- Smooth Engine, Great Looks, Efficient Mileage!!I was willing to go in 160cc or above. I took test drive, the engine smoothness and stunning look are the 2 key factors. Apart from that Cb350rs has better mileage than speed 400 and price range is also lower comparatively. Better than Triumph in mileage and better than RE in performance. It’s suited for those who are willing to do rides on weekends and wants to use as daily commute as well. Highway ride is better compared to city. Still having 350cc with dual channels abs helps you out manoeuvre others and gives extra edge while breaking. City mileage between 33.5 to 36 kmpl and highway mileage varies between 38 to 44 kmpl, depending on riding style and roads.Read More6 7
- Big bike for big guysRS is basically scrambler but its retro finish looks very good also its size in lines with my tall and muscular stature, this has good height better milage than other, heavy weight bikes also this makes you different. Ride is very comfortable and smooth on highways, it will literally melt the rider very satisfying and also easily manageable in traffic and gear shifts are very important in such situations which is well supported in the RS Yes it is very easily recommendable for anyone who is looking for a good looking heavy bike for both cruising and offroading even in daily commute to hobby riding it basically caterers to all the needs that can ariseRead More1 9
- Good in the highways, not that good in the citiesIt has really good looks Honestly it is a retro scrambler like a royal enfield but i went for the honda for its engine and mileage Honda has a good reliability record The engine has a perfect rythm that will make you fall in love. I have rode around 5000 km The suspension is stiffer than expected especially in the rear. Great handling . Needed a sprocket change earlier than expected but the service is good and the price is also descent. It has good mileage on the highways but i usually drive it in the city, still not bad Good looks and a lovely engine rhythm Not recommended for city use the tall gearing is really annoying in the cities.Read More11 4
