The Honda Activa, a name which resonates with every household when it comes to scooters in India. It has been the best selling scooter in India for quite a few years now and has rightfully earned that spot due to the reliability it provides along with the mileage. So we took that to test and check what’s the highest and lowest mileage the scooter returns.

For this test, we rode the Honda Activa at high speeds and pinned the throttle wherever we could. The distance covered was almost 50km which consists of a mix of highways, city traffic and some bad roads. The scooter consumed over 1.5 litres of petrol which in turn gave a mileage of 28kmpl.

To check the highest possible mileage for the Honda Activa, we covered the same route as the lowest mileage run but this time around, we were as gentle on the throttle as possible. After maintaining an average speed of 25kmph to 30kmph, the Activa returned a mileage of 117kmpl.
The figure is astonishing as the Activa gets a 5.3 litre fuel tank capacity and with an average of 117kmpl, you can go from Pune to Mumbai and back to Pune without having the need to fuel up, but you would have to ride as slow as we did!
