Here’s A Tastefully Modified Custom Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Cafe Racer
It looks exquisite, packs premium hardware and a modified engine
Royal Enfield bikes are known for their customisability factor, and modification houses around the word exploit this to the fullest. This one, built by Taiwanese custom house Rough Crafts, on the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is everything a premium fully-faired cafe racer should look like with its mouth watering beauty.
First off, it takes a strong departure from the retro styling with a bucket full of futuristic styling. It sports a black front cowl with two offset vertically stacked headlights. The cowl continues to the side with a shiny black body panel and is integrated with a fuel tank with its golden accent, only elevating the aesthetic appeal of the bike.
The rear, too, gets a revised sub frame which is cut short to accomodate a single seat and a lifted sporty tail. No matter how much we talk about this bike’s aesthetics, it simply won’t be enough because of how tasteful it is.

Apart from the design, the hardware has been updated too. The cafe racer now gets an Ohlins USD fork, and monoshock suspension setup. It gets twin discs up front and single disc setup with Beringer calipers for braking. It rolls on Pirelli Diablo superbike SE2 track slicks which should make this cafe racer a beast on the track.
Now the engine has gone through a significant change too. The 648cc air-/oil-cooled stock heart makes 47.6PS and 52Nm, however, the engine is fitted with an air filter as well as a full system free flow SC Project dual exhaust setup. This is bound to increase the power and torque figures of the bike, making it an even better performer.
While this is a one off bike by a custom house, Royal Enfield is also working on a faired Continental GT 650 with more premium underpinnings. There is also a liquid-cooled 450cc cafe racer in the pipeline by Enfield. Head here for more details on that.

- Good and badI wanted good classy looking cool bike and GT 650 is exactly what I wanted, it has no competitor. If given second chance of choosing bike, I would still pick this up instead of speedy KTM bikes. Only problem it has is the weight is hard to manage and it can be hard to turn in corners but I knew what I was buying. Its a good bike, I have some burn marks on my legs but that is what I expect it gets hot and you can feel the heat in city but it won't shut down and cause issue, you should treat it like a 600 cc bike and properly respect its weight in corners and city. Only if you have other bikes and cars. This being your primary day to day bike is not can be easy to use in a city or day to day commute to office. It will be too much of power and weight. - Its a whole different vibe with 650That bulky boy and speed makes the bike very attractive and muscular and it gives the vibe that other bike can't give you if you'er going to college or office the royal enfild continental gt 650 would be the best option. Eventually its good for mileage and comfort for short rides if you have the capacity for riding on full throttle then you will get deficiencies for mileage, if we ride like a gentleman then we can feel the comfort and safety.
