Looks like everyone is getting on to the Scrambler band wagon now. First it was Ducati who launched the Scrambler last year and now at the 2015 EICMA, Benelli and BMW have revealed their own Scramblers. Now it looks like Japanese giant Honda wants a piece of the pie too. The new Honda Six50 concept continues in exploring what other machines could be created from the Honda CBR650F platform. But instead of going the café racer route, the Honda Six50 is more of along the lines of the popular scrambler genre.

It’s great that Honda is recycling a motorcycle and the Honda Six50 concept proves that Honda can turn away from that dated safe designs. One look at the bold graphics on the Six50 concept, and personality oozes, yet underneath that fairings is the same CBR650F we all love. We’ve already reviewed the CBR650F so we know that the Six50 will be powered by a good engine.

But will they de-tune it to make it easier to use for newbies to ride or tweak it a bit for a little more performance? We’ll have to wait and see as Honda hasn’t released any figures yet and this being just a concept; it might not reach the production line. We do hope Honda can make a limited run with the Six50, because we’re sure it will sell in any market.
