At this point of time, this engine had gotten quite old, but it should still offer a linear power delivery, refinement and usable performance.

Features
For a bike launched in 2027, Kawasaki has kept the features list rather simple. The bike gets LED headlight with DRLs, along with an LED taillight. The brand has given this bike an LCD console, same as the Ninja 500, and it misses out on smartphone connectivity. For safety, the bike gets dual-channel ABS. There is no IMU, ride-by-wire throttle, ride modes, traction control, lean sensitive ABS etc, all of which its main rivals get.
BikeDekho Says
Currently, the sub-500 cc naked bike market in India is running quite strong. We have bikes from almost all major manufacturers, competing with each other to take the top-spot. Due to this, Kawasaki does appear to be a little late to the party with the launch of the Z300. When compared to its main rivals like the much more affordable Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Z, the TVS Apache RTR 310, and the king-of-the-hill KTM 390 Duke R. All of these rivals not only offer a more modern design, but are also loaded to the brim in terms of features. In this race, the only advantage the Z300 will offer is refinement and smoothness of a parallel-twin engine.
