Less than a week ago, TVS updated its Apache and Ronin lineup with new features, colours and variants. One of them was the Base+ variant of the TVS Ronin, slotting between the Base and Mid trims. It is priced at Rs 1,42,490 (ex-showroom Delhi). Read below to know what features you get on this trim:
What’s New
The Base+ variant of the Ronin has identical features to the Base trim’s. But inclusion of dual-channel ABS is what’s new on this variant. Dual-channel ABS is a highly appreciated feature as it not only helps you brake with stability during those panic brake moments, but also it is very helpful on wet surfaces or during the monsoon.
What’s Unchanged
As mentioned before, the feature list is carried forward from the Base to Base+ trim. This includes an all-LED lighting setup, LCD instrument console, Glide Through Technology (GTT) for low-speed riding in heavy traffic with just clutch modulation, and two ABS riding modes: Rain and Urban. The offset instrument console has all the basic features you would expect: speedometer, gear position indicator, odometer, tripmeter readings, fuel gauge, tachometer, and telltale lights. The lack of smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation makes this variant a bit hard to consider. Although, TVS offered assist and slipper clutch for effortless clutch inputs, and a silent starter.

The Base+ variant costs Rs 10,500 more than the Base variant. For that money, you get dual-channel ABS, and a choice of 2 more colours. While the latter is subjective, investing in additional safety is always a good choice. While the difference is a significant amount, if you can budget for it, we highly recommend this variant. It will prevent those wheel lock-ups in case of panic braking scenarios.

TVS Ronin is good bike in this price, it has better proformance then royal Enfield hunter 350, and good comfort than other bike, this bike is good for long rides the seat of bike is very much comfortable and looks are killer in this segment, this bike offers very advance features like riding mode which does not get in other bike, its meter has very usefull and advence feature, this bike with low seat height are comfortable for short rider, it has all led light which is good, but one thing is drawback its mileage in highway, it give good mileage but in city traffic mileage is low, this bike comes with oil cooled which makes it best performance bike.Read More

Best cc bike in this segment. it has nice pickup. its a horse, exhaust note is just amazing, best bike for college students. Public reaction is crazy after seeing this bike. Looks comfortable for daily commute of 140- 150 km. TVS Ronin offers 225 cc engine with good mileage of 40 kmpl, stunning looks which makes the heads turn, royal and comfy feel without compromising on city ride quality and oil cooling for better engine efficiency. Ride is smooth, punchy, confident and feels agile, makes you confident while riding but struggles in corners because of TVS tyres which lacks grip, comfort and art of cornering. The whole setup looks balanced for the price hence can't complain for that.
