What Stays The Same

Before looking at the differences, it’s useful to know what’s common across all four base iQube models. Every variant is built on the same tubular frame, using a telescopic fork and hydraulic twin-tube rear shock absorbers. All versions ride on 90/90-12 tubeless tyres at both ends. Standard equipment includes full LED lighting, regenerative braking, and TVS’ SmartXonnect platform, which provides over 118 connected features like turn-by-turn navigation, geofencing, and crash alerts.

iQube 2.3 kWh: The Entry Point

This is the gateway to the iQube family and uses a 2.3 kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of 114 km. However, this variant is not just a smaller-battery version; it’s a stripped-down model. Its top speed is capped at 68 kmph, significantly lower than the 82 km/h of the other models. It also uses drum brakes on both wheels and features a basic 12.7 cm LCD console. 

iQube 3.1 kWh: The Sweet Spot

The 3.1 kWh variant emerges as the most sensible choice for most buyers. The battery size increases to 3.1 kWh, pushing the claimed IDC range to 123 km. More importantly, this variant unlocks the iQube’s full performance potential, with the top speed rising to 82 kmph and the 0-40 km/h time improving to 4.2 seconds. Safety gets a crucial upgrade with a 220 mm front disc brake. The instrument console is also upgraded to a 12.7 cm TFT screen.

iQube 3.5 kWh: The Range Topper

Its entire value proposition is its larger 3.5 kWh battery, which extends the IDC range to 145 km. Apart from the extra 22 km of range and a slightly longer charging time (4h 30m), it is mechanically and functionally identical to the 3.1 kWh model. It has the same 82 kmph top speed, front disc brake, TFT display, and 32-litre underseat storage. This variant is aimed squarely at customers whose primary concern is maximising range.

iQube MillionR Edition: The No-Cost Special

Celebrating one million iQube sales, the MillionR Edition is priced identically to the standard 3.5 kWh variant. It shares the same 3.5 kWh battery and 145 km range. The differences are purely cosmetic and feature-based. It comes in an exclusive Aurora Green dual-tone colour, features special "MillionR" badging, and has premium seat upholstery. If you're deciding which iQube to actually buy: skip the 2.3 kWh unless budget is the only factor — the drum brakes and lower top speed aren't worth the savings. The 3.1 kWh is the one to buy for most riders — it gets the disc brake, TFT display, and Q-Park Assist. Upgrade to the 3.5 kWh only if your daily distance genuinely needs that extra 22 km of range.
