The Honda Shine 100 is a basic daily commuter bike designed for practicality and simplicity. It gets a 98.98 cc engine, with a focus on ease of use and fuel efficiency. And priced at Rs 65,642 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Design & Styling
The Sine 100 gets a no-nonsense commuter design with alloy wheel setup. The styling is functional without making it look overly complicated. The graphics and colour options make it a bit more appealing as well. It is offered in five colourways: Red with Black, Blue with Black, Grey with Black, Green with Black, & Orange with Black.

Safety & Hardware
Again, keeping it down to the essentials only, Honda offers Combi Brake System (CBS) and side stand engine cut-off features in the safety department. The Shine 100 gets drum brakes at both ends: the rear (110 mm) and the front (130 mm). It gets telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers.
Engine & Performance
Powering the bike is a 98.98 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine, mated to a 4-speed gearbox, churning out 7.38 PS at 7,500 rpm and 8.05 Nm at 5,000 rpm. With a smooth and predictable power delivery, great fuel economy and kerb weight of just 99 kg, Honda cemented the bike as one of the most reliable and easy to handle commuters.
