Honda Rebel 500 Removed From Website: Here's Why This May Not Be Not Bad News
The Honda CBR 1000RR-R SP Fireblade has also been removed from the website

Quick News Highlights
-
The Honda Rebel 500 was launched in 20th May, 2025
-
It’s the brand’s cheapest and only cruiser
-
The bike was only sold in 3 cities: Gurugram, Bengaluru and Mumbai
Honda has recently removed the Honda Rebel 500 from its website. While usually removing a product from the official website may indicate its discontinuation, this might not be the case with the Rebel 500. According to our dealer sources, the stocks have run out, and the next batch will only arrive by 2026, possibly in the first quarter.
Our sources say that unofficial bookings for the bike are open, but deliveries will only begin in 2026. Currently, the bike is only sold in 3 cities: Gurugram, Bengaluru and Mumbai via BigWing Topline dealerships. Only a limited number of bikes are imported to India, and since it’s the only other mid-capacity Japanese cruiser other than the Kawasaki Eliminator 500, it’s not surprising that it got sold out.

The Honda Rebel 500 is powered by a 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor which makes 46.2PS at 8500rpm and 43.3Nm at 6000rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission with a slip-and-assist clutch.

The Honda Rebel 500 was launched in May at a price of Rs 5,12,000 (ex-showroom, Gurugram, Haryana). Honda took a very conservative approach by offering the cruiser in just three cities. This isn’t surprising as the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 dominates its segment, offering more for far less money.
In a related development, Honda has also removed the recently launched Honda CBR 1000RR-R SP Fireblade from its website. We suspect the bike has not been discontinued, and has likely been removed because the stocks have been depleted, just like the Rebel 500.

- Honda rebel : the actual meaning of adrenalineYou know, the Honda Rebel 500 is one of those bikes they just completely nailed. It skips all that flashy, heavy chrome we see on old school cruisers and goes for this modern, blacked-out bobber look that works. And the first thing you feel is how crazy low that seat is. Seriously, it's a huge confidence booster.Read More1 1
