Honda Activa 110 H-Smart Variant: All You Need To Know
If you want the best of the best on an Activa, this variant is the one to go for, and here’s why
Honda sells the Activa 110 in three variants, and the H-Smart is the very top variant among the three. Everyone knows about the Activa, and for most buyers the base variant suffices, as it gets almost every essential feature covered. However, the H-Smart variant is for those buyers who want the full feature set. It's priced at Rs 91,082 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Here's a detailed look at everything it packs in:
Design & Styling
This is the one department where Honda doesn’t want to mess around. It has chosen to keep all the variants of the Activa 110 identical except for a few small changes. Compared to the base variant, this one gets a sharper-looking LED headlight and alloy wheels. But then again, if you put both the DLX variant and this one side by side, you’ll barely be able to see the differences. Also, all the variants get the same set of colours, so the Smart variant won’t feel particularly special, at least as far as colours are concerned.
Features
When I talk about what makes this one the top variant, it would be the additional tech that this one gets. You get the keyless ignition with this one; Honda calls it a Smart Key setup that the other two variants miss. This exclusively covers four functions: locating the scooter in a crowded lot, unlocking the seat and handlebar, starting the engine without pulling the key out, and an anti-theft immobiliser if someone tries to use a duplicate key. It's also the sole variant with Bluetooth connectivity, paired with the Honda RoadSync app that brings in turn-by-turn navigation with voice assist.
It also gets a TFT display, and you get call handling, message read-outs, weather updates, and music control with it. On top of that, it includes the eco indicator, live mileage readout, range-to-empty display, periodic maintenance reminders, and a screen that automatically adjusts between light and dark themes. USB-C charging is standard here too. It also gets the idling stop system, which can also be switched off, and a silent starter for quieter startups.
Safety & Hardware
The H-Smart runs on tubeless tyres, 90/90-12 up front and 90/100-10 at the rear, with drum brakes on both ends sized at 130mm each, paired with a combined braking system so the front gets some braking force even when only the rear lever is used.
Though we would’ve appreciated it if this got a front disc brake at least. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and a 3-step adjustable shock absorber at the rear, letting you tweak the setup slightly for load. The frame itself is an underbone design, standard for scooters in this class.
Engine & Performance
No changes here, as it uses the same 7.9PS and 9.05Nm engine with an automatic gearbox. As for the mileage, in our road test we got quite impressive figures: 55.9kmpl out on the highway and 59.5kmpl in the city. The engine is vibe-free, and is more suited for relaxed riding.

If you’re really keen on having the keyless functionalities and also if you’re going to be using the turn-by-turn navigation frequently, only then does this variant make sense. A front disc would’ve really made it a more rounded package, if you ask us.
