While both motorcycles share the same 199.6cc engine with the same power and torque outputs, the Pro variant commands a premium of almost Rs 12,000 for its specialised hardware.
This extra cost gets you a taller, longer-travel adjustable suspension setup, resulting in higher ground clearance and a taller seat height. The ergonomics are also more off-road focused, making the Standard variant better suited for mixed city commuting and touring, while the Pro is designed for tackling challenging trails.

My favourite one is the Met Nexus Blue White as it makes the bike look quite premium, even though the white shade is easier to get dirty. Convenience Features
The Xpulse 200 4V includes a range of features aimed at improving rider convenience. A full-LCD instrument console displays essential information like speed, fuel level, gear position, and real-time mileage.
It also offers Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts, which is useful for staying connected without handling a phone. More importantly, the console supports turn-by-turn navigation, a valuable tool for touring and exploring new routes. A USB charging port is provided to keep devices powered on the go. Illumination is handled by an all-LED setup, including an LED projector headlamp.
Safety Features
Hero has equipped the Xpulse 200 4V with three ABS modes—Road, Off-road, and Rally. They adjust ABS intervention to suit different terrains. The Road mode has the highest intervention, off-road is more forgiving, and Rally completely switches off the ABS.
Do note that the bike gets only a single-channel ABS. A dual-channel unit would’ve made the overall package better in my opinion. You also get knuckle guards to protect your hands from flying debris, and the hazard lamps come in handy if you’ve pulled over on a dimly lit road.
Engine And Performance
At the heart of the Xpulse 200 4V is a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, air-oil-cooled engine. This fuel-injected motor produces 19.1PS of power at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of torque at 6,500rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
It is tuned for strong low- and mid-range torque, making it well-suited for city traffic and technical trails. The lightweight chassis aids manoeuvrability. Our experts have praised it for its great off-roading ability, but not really ideal for outright highway riding, as the 200cc air-cooled engine can only do so much to sustain higher speeds.
Rivals
The Hero Xpulse 200 4V’s direct rival is the Kawasaki KLX230. It offers similar levels of performance, but is a lot lighter and more compact. That said, it is also a lot costlier than the XPulse. There are no other off-road capable motorcycles available at the XPulse 200’s price point in India. You can extend your budget and take a look at the Hero Xpulse 210, which offers better performance thanks to the liquid-cooled engine.

Maintenance cost is also very good and cheap you can get service done from any of the authorised hero service centres. I have been driving since almost twenty two thousand kilometres so far and im fully satisfied with the performance of this bike. I just changed chain socket and fuel motor in the fuel tank.
