What's Changed?

TVS has discontinued the top variant of the RTR 310, and the base variant has been split into two variants: Base without quickshifter and Base with quickshifter.

The new base variant without quickshifter is priced at Rs 2.30 lakh and is available only in the Arsenal Black colour.

On the other hand, the base variant with a quickshifter starts at Rs 2.47 lakh for the Arsenal Black and Fury Yellow colour schemes, followed by the Fiery Red colour, which costs Rs 2.52 lakh. The new addition to this variant is the Sepang Blue colour, which was only available on the BTO (Build To Order) variants earlier. It is priced at Rs 2.57 lakh.

TVS continues to offer the Black Diamond Edition and Anniversary Edition, priced at Rs 2.49 lakh and Rs 2.97 lakh, respectively. The Black Diamond Edition was recently launched and gets a Matte Black colour scheme, while the Anniversary Edition comes in a Black and Golden colour scheme and is now the top variant of the Apache RTR 310 lineup.

The BTO variants also continue to be on sale for buyers who want additional features. These include the Dynamic Kit and Dynamic Pro Kit, with prices depending on the exact kit and colour chosen.

What's Unchanged?

The bike continues to be powered by a 312.12cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 35.6 PS and 28.7 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The TVS bike is equipped with an inverted fork and a monoshock, along with disc brakes at both ends. The BTO (Build To Order) variants also get fully adjustable suspension.

In terms of features, the Apache RTR 310 continues to get a 5-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, multiple riding modes and cruise control. It also gets dual-channel ABS, traction control, and a hazard light switch as safety features.

BikeDekho Says

With this update, TVS has simplified the Apache RTR 310 lineup. The new base variant makes the Apache RTR 310 more affordable for buyers who do not need a quickshifter, while the variant with the quickshifter now gets a new, more attractive colour option. However, if you want more features and fully adjustable suspension, you can still consider the BTO variants.

With all the changes that TVS has recently made to the bike, you can buy one this festive season, and we don’t expect any major changes to be made to the bike anytime soon.

Impressive Ride Quality Overall

Bought it for the solid build and decent looks. I’ve seen many riders using it for years, so that trust made me pick this one. The reason I chose this bike is showroom is close and service cost is low. Smooth gear shifts and good road grip. I’ve ridden about 3000 km now. Engine still sounds fresh, brakes are tight, and mileage is steady. No issues yet.Starts in one kick, pickup is fine, and suspension feels okay on rough patches. Great mileage with solid engine response. I’d recommend it because it feels strong and trustworthy. Not a showy bike, but it does everything you need without drama. The service os this bike is simple, cost is low, and it runs smooth every day.Read More

Great Choice for New Riders

Needed a simple, solid bike with less maintenance. Looked at a few reviews and picked this one. It also came with a decent set of features for the price and felt lighter to handle than most other bikes I tested. Rides are comfortable, gear shifts are clean. No problem even after a few long rides. Mileage is fine. The suspension is decent for city roads, though a little stiff on long trips. Still, very reliable overall. I’d recommend it for office and local rides. Not fancy, but it does the job easily. This bike is very easy to maintain for weekend trips, comfortable for short and long rides, and affordable in the long run.Read More
