A unique paint scheme and a bunch of accessories make this 125cc commuter sportier than ever
The TVS Raider 125 is one of the sportiest motorcycles in this segment and in Columbia, this bike gets to flaunt its sportiness. Called the TVS Raider Racing Special Edition, this version of the commuter comes with a bunch of updates.
Firstly, let’s talk about this cool paint scheme. The California Grey colour compliments the styling of the motorcycle very well. There’s a nice contrasting line running across the tank with ‘Special Edition’ written across it. And as we have seen with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition and Apache RTR 165 RP, the Raider Special Edition comes with red alloy wheels.

Other updates on the bike include hand guards, caliper protectors, aluminium chain guard, crash guard and a mobile phone holder. But apart from these, there are no mechanical changes to the product. In the Columbian market, it comes with the same 124.79cc single-cylinder engine but makes 12.73PS and 11.5Nm which is 1.4PS and 0.3Nm more than the Indian model.
At an equivalent of Rs 1,50,033, the TVS Raider Racing Special Edition is a fair deal more expensive than the standard Indian model which retails for Rs 94,719. Though chances of this version of the TVS Raider is very slim, the company recently launched the single-seat version of the bike.

The solo seat version of the bike is very good looking like similar to pulsar and it feels very light weight to ride this bike. The ride with the TVS raider was amazing till now, no breaking points were given by this bike, still rides the same smooth and the sound of the filter of this bike is best. The disc provided is also good, breaks tyres, engines, every thing is very good. - My experience with TVS Raider.I wanted a bike with a decent mileage per litre because my work demands inter district commute. And after extensive search I found Raider. I wanted a bike that wasn't too boring for a mileage centred bike and this was my fair bet. Overall ride experience is satisfactory. Braking is bit off, that can be improved but if you're going in a decent speed, it shouldn't be a concern for you but if you're in a rush, it sure will affect you in one way or the other. But didn't have any bad experience till this day. Yeah, I'd recommend this bike but its safe, if you give it a test drive and make sure it's suited according to your needs.
