TVS Motor Company has expanded its Super Squad Edition (SSE) of the Raider 125 with 2 new colour variants inspired by Marvel characters: Deadpool and Wolverine. It is priced the same as the other Marvel-inspired colours at Rs 99,465 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Looks
The new editions of this TVS bike feature graphics and decals based on the 2 popular superheroes on grey and black base paints. Marvel fans will love the graphics, especially the Deadpool and Wolverine masks on the fuel tank.

Features
The TVS Raider 125 comes in a mild-hybrid variant called iGO Assist, and now, the brand offers the same tech in all the colour variants the SSE as well. It is essentially an electric assist provided by the starter motor while the bike accelerates. This ensures quicker acceleration and better mileage as the electric motor takes some of the load away from the engine.

Additionally, the bike also gets a low-rpm assist (TVS calls it the ‘GTT’ or Glide Through Technology) which allows the rider to ride slowly with just the clutch modulation and no throttle. Both these features were already available on other variants of the Raider 125 like the top-spec SX, the iGo, and Split Seat.

The TVS Raider 125 also had features like an LCD console, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, phone alerts, voice assist, sport score updates, and weather reports. They’re all available in the newly launched colour variants as well.

Safety features wise, it gets a side-stand down engine cut-off sensor and ‘SBT’ (Sync Braking Technology) - which’s TVS’ fancy term for a combined braking system.

Engine
The TVS Raider 125 has a 124.8cc, 3-valve, air-and-oil cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 11.4PS at 7,500rpm, 11.2Nm at 6,000rpm (11.75Nm with iGo Assist), and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Marvel Partnership
TVS first introduced the Marvel-themed Raider SSE back in 2023 with the Iron Man and Black Panther versions. The brand also offers these variants with TVS NTorq 125, and it also recently got an updated Captain America themed version. The collaboration is a great way for the brand to connect with younger buyers through familiar pop culture references.

TVS Raider User Reviews
- TVS- RAIDERI choose raider because one of my friend suggested me to buy as this bike is good nice looks and good mileage. The solo seat version of the bike is very good looking like similar to pulsar and it feels very light weight to ride this bike. The ride with the TVS raider was amazing till now, no breaking points were given by this bike, still rides the same smooth and the sound of the filter of this bike is best. The disc provided is also good, breaks tyres, engines, every thing is very good. I would like to recommend this bike to everyone other because of its looks, smooth rides, pretty good disc, nice colours, best engines, nice mileage and more than that the trust on TVS. They have been creating beats like this for very long now.Read More3 4
- My experience with TVS Raider.I wanted a bike with a decent mileage per litre because my work demands inter district commute. And after extensive search I found Raider. I wanted a bike that wasn't too boring for a mileage centred bike and this was my fair bet. Overall ride experience is satisfactory. Braking is bit off, that can be improved but if you're going in a decent speed, it shouldn't be a concern for you but if you're in a rush, it sure will affect you in one way or the other. But didn't have any bad experience till this day. Yeah, I'd recommend this bike but its safe, if you give it a test drive and make sure it's suited according to your needs. You should not feel bad after making the purchase in my opinion. But its a solid choice according to me.Read More32 27
