Battle Of Premium Commuters: Bajaj V15 vs Honda CB Unicorn 150

The Pune-based auto maker- Bajaj recently launched its new motorcycle- the V15 that directly competes with the Honda CB Unicorn 150. Both the motorcycles come in the premium...

Design and Styling: The Honda CB Unicorn 150 is already a successful product in the market, which has been relaunched recently at the 2016 Auto Expo. The bike provides a decent riding experience in city conditions and looks premium as well. However, the new Bajaj V15 has even better ergonomics and a unique classic styling that will be surely noticed on the roads. The V15 also gets some first-in-segment features like a removable pillion seat cowl and a meaty 120/80 section rear tyre that makes it even more appealing.

Engine and Performance: Both the Bajaj V15 and the Honda CB Unicorn 150 are powered by similar 150cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motors. The performance on both bikes similar and are tuned for city commuting. The V15 has a much throaty exhaust note as compared to the Unicorn 150's silent ride. Both can do a top speed over 100kmph.

Bajaj V15 Review

My Father bought this bike, and currently I am using this bike the most. I used it to learn how to ride a bike, and it was a pretty smooth experience i guess. The bike's a little heavy, so i wouldn't say perfect for beginners. About safety, it's meh. Braking system is pretty average. It's prone to slipping. The spare parts are pretty difficult to get, making maintanence not an easy task due to bike's limited availability.Read More

Its made from a ship metal whcih is our nations pride. Good mileage as regular servicing is done with Bajaj service centre only. Low height helps to maintain the balance more comfortably while moving on the road. Very good experience in riding this bike alone and with family members on a long drive.Read More
