Bajaj Blade 125 on its way

India's scooter market is on its all time high, but strangely country's second largest two-wheeler maker and legendary scooter manufacturer Bajaj has not a single scooter on offer. Bajaj started its journey with the scooters, and their Chetak and Priya were one of the most successful scooters till date. However, they have tried their hands in the scooters with the Kristle and Wave in last few years, but they failed. Now there are reports coming in that the Bajaj Auto might come with a new 125cc scooter, which will speak for them in the scooter segment. Hopefully, it will be the Bajaj Blade 125, which is going to be a unisex offering from the company.

However, nothing has been said officially, an image of the scooter is doing rounds on online automobile portals and it says a lot about the scooter. The image suggests that the Blade will be equipped with front telescopic shock absorbers, 12 inch wheels, digital instrument cluster, front fuel filling, front disc brake and electric start. The scooter will be powered by a 125cc-air cooled four stroke engine that features a 4 valve head, which will be mated to a CVT transmission and safely expect the engine to get the DTSi treatment in the production spec scooter.

Looking at the expected specifications the upcoming Blade 125 is going to be a great product, and as Bajaj is famous for keeping the prices under check, we can expect an affordable price tag of the said scooter as well. Bajaj Blade 125 will compete with the other 125cc scooters in India including Piaggio Vespa LX125, Mahindra Duro, Suzuki Access and Swish.

Overall feedback covering looks & performance

Buying expereince was good when I bought it in 2012 from Ahmadabad, bought it full on cash payment. Riding comfort is pretty smooth & consistent-no jerks, Looks is dashing with black colour & green shades on it-quite majestic & manly feeling with mystery touch. Needs very less maintenance or servicing, keep checking mileage every 3-6 months that's it.Read More

Good Bike

I am riding this bike for the last 5 years. It never makes me irritate from its riding experience, service cost, and comfort. Still, I am getting mileage around 70kmpl.

Best Bike For Short Riders.

Good bike for city rides and weekend-long rides within 400km rides. The suspension is nice. It is easy to handle, maintenance is low, the best bike for short riders.
