2016 Bajaj Avenger range has been launched today and it includes three exciting models- 150 Street, 220 Street and 220 Cruise. The prior one model has been priced at Rs. 75,000, while the latter two have a sticker price tag of Rs. 84,000 (all ex-showroom, Delhi). Both the Street versions of the bike look almost similar and gets a sporty styling, while the Cruise version has a classic look.
The new Avenger 220 Street and Cruise sports the same 220cc, air-cooled DTS-i engine, which powered their predecessor. The motor continues to use the carburetted type fuel supply system along with the oil-cooler, and it puts out the same 18.8bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 17.5Nm. The Avenger 150 Street houses a 150cc DTS-i mill, which has been tuned for better low and mid range torque. It makes up to 12.5Nm at just 6,500rpm and a top power of 14.3bhp at 9,000rpm.
