2015 Honda Activa-i and Aviator launched at Rs. 46,213 and Rs. 50,863 respectively

The undisputed leader of scooters India- Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) has launched 2015 Activa-i and Aviator today. Taking another leap in the promised direction of 15 products in 2015, Honda has now completed impressive 8 new two-wheelers model launches in just 6 months. Price of the new Honda Activa-i starts from Rs. 46,213 and that of the Honda Aviator is 50,863  (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Along with these new launches, the company announced its new brand association with Taapsee Pannu, one of the most recognizable faces of South Indian cinema and a youth Icon in Bollywood.

Re-energizing the compact scooter segment, the 2015 edition of Honda Activa-i is now also available in an exciting Deluxe variant, which has been priced at Rs. 46,703 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Targeting unisex customer base, the Standard variant sports sharp, stylized body graphics and comes in 4 colors- Black (new), Pearl Amazing White, Autumn Beige Metallic and Alpha Red Metallic. The New Deluxe variant sports trendy floral graphics to woo young female riders and comes in 2 new colours Orchid Purple Metallic and Pearl Amazing White.

The 2015 edition of the Honda Aviator oozes sophistication and premium-ness in its newest form. Checking all the style boxes is the new rich Brown colour that flows from the seat cover all the way to the inner body cover making it a joy to behold.

New Aviator comes loaded with styling elements like muscular metallic front look, front chrome cover, console cover garnish, stylized halogen powered headlamp, garnished instrumental panel, crystal clear lens, sweeping side indicators, body-colored grab tail and 3D Wings emblem. Its advanced features include telescopic front suspension, stylish five spoke 12-inch silver alloy wheels, wide and comfortable seat and optional 190mm front disc brake. The scooter sits high on the convenience with tubeless tyres, comfortable riding position, viscous air filter, 20 liter underseat storage space and maintenance free battery. Apart from the existing Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Sunbeam White and Pearl Ingenious Black colour options, the 2015 Honda Aviator has been made available in a new Silver Strand Metallic colour and its deluxe variant (Disc Brake) has been priced at Rs. 56,209 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

2015 Honda Activa-i

Both the 2015 Honda Activa-i and Aviator sports the 109cc trusted Honda engine powered by the latest Honda Eco Technology (HET). It makes a maximum power of 8bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 8.74Nm at 5,500rpm. The scooters claim to return an efficiency of upto 60kmpl and a top speed of 83kmph. Both the scooter comes equipped with 130mm front and rear drum type braking units, which incorporates Combi Brake System (CBS), however, the deluxe variant of the Aviator sport a 190mm disc brake unit at the front.
