With an approach to provide equal riding pleasures to the female population of the country the new Hero MotoCorp Pleasure is introduced. As specified in its tagline “Why should boys have all the fun!”, the new Hero MotoCorp Pleasure really offers an inevitable experience for the ladies.
The facelifted Pleasure holds beneath a heart of 102cc, air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine, which develops a peak power of 6.74bhp at 7,000rpm corresponding to the maximum torque of 7.85Nm at 5,000rpm. Along with sufficient power, the Hero MotoCorp Pleasure maintains a decent fuel economy of 60kmpl as well.
The tubeless tyres are the same at both ends that are of the size 90/100 x 10-53J”. Hero MotoCorp introduced Pleasure with Integrated Braking system for enhanced braking experience. The IBS involves the application of both the brakes simultaneously while pressing the left lever. Another improvement comes in the form of a boot light in the underseat storage area. This helps picking those goodies in the dark without any hazzle. The suspension comes with spring loaded hydraulic dampers at both ends.
Coming to the visuals, the Pleasure gets its cosmetic surgery at the headlamp and the tail lamp section. The front headlights now gets broader with twin pilot lamps pivoted at the top opposite corners, which ensures better visibility at nights along with an improved styling. The mobile charging port maintains its existence in the new version as well. In addition, the new instrument cluster now fills up with a side stand indicator to promote safety. Hero MotoCorp Pleasure is available in a wide range of colours to choose from and the shades are Beautiful Blue, Perky Purple, Gorgeous Green, Outgoing Orange, Playful Red & White, Witty White and Ravishing Red.
Hero MotoCorp Pleasure is designed impressively and looks like a mid-sized scooter. Its front profile now comes with a bigger multi reflector headlight with twin pilot lamps pivoted at its top corners. The scooter is bolted on a high rigidity underbone frame that serves as a tough skeleton for its body. The front apron also has clear lens turning indicators that are embedded in a triangular section gives a premium touch to the scooter. The rear end of the scooter has received some cosmetic upgrades as compared to its earlier version. It now houses a sharp triangular tail lamp with clear lens blinkers blended within. The scooter has a front glove box and genuine under seat storage space to accommodate those goodies without any hassle.
The vehicle measures 1,750mm x 705mm x 1,110mm (LxBxH) with a wheelbase of 1,240mm. It has a minimum ground clearance of 125mm and sports a fuel tank of 5 liter capacity. The seat is adjusted to a height of 765mm giving a low and comfortable riding position to our female riders. The instrument cluster is now refreshed that includes speedometer, fuel gauge and other informative indicators. The total kerb weight of the scooter sums up to 101kgs, making it a light and zippy 100cc two-wheeler.
Propelling the Hero MotoCorp Pleasure is a 102cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine that mates with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) system. The single cylinder OHC mill generates a peak power of 7bhp at 7,000rpm with a maximum torque of 7.85Nm at 5,000rpm. The scooter uses CDI as its ignition system and dry automatic centrifugal clutch setup for its smoother operation. Hero MotoCorp claims a top speed of 77kmph for the vehicle. Apart from providing comfort and smoother performance, the scooter returns a decent combined fuel efficiency of 49kmpl to its rider.
The scooter has 130mm drum brakes at both ends that are further paired with Integrated Braking System (IBS). The system involves the application of both the brakes while pressing the rear brake lever to enhance safety and stability. Hero MotoCorp Pleasure is also equipped with 90/100x10”-53 tubeless tyres at the front as well as rear that provide a better grip along with a lot of convenience. The tyres are mounted on 10” alloy wheels that looks stylish. The suspension system of the scooter includes bottom link with spring loaded hydraulic damper at the front and unit swing arm with spring loaded hydraulic damper at the rear.
Hero MotoCorp Pleasure has an Integrated Braking System (IBS) that offers safety by applying both the brakes when the rider presses the rear brake lever only. This automatic application proves beneficial in times of strict conditions and harsh riding. The company has blessed the vehicle with many convenient features as well. Its under seat boot space gets a light which proves useful in dark conditions. Hero MotoCorp Pleasure also gets a mobile charging port at the front glove box to ensure that the connectivity never gets disconnected. The scooter also sports tubeless tyres at both ends that do not get flattened suddenly in case of a puncture, giving an additional benefit to the rider. It has a powerful headlamp consisting of a 12V-35W halogen type bulb that gives a brighter vision even in the darkest conditions.
