Suzuki Intruder

Suzuki offers its premium cruiser bike in the mid range category christened as Suzuki Intruder M800. It comes with a traditional appearance and promises superior ride quality. The bike was introduced keeping in mind the growing market of cruiser motorcycles in the country and has shown a quite decent sales.

Suzuki Intruder M800 is propelled by a 805cc, liquid-cooled, twin cylinder, 45° V-twin engine that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. It uses wet multiplate clutch assembly and develops a peak power of 50bhp at 6,500rpm with a maximum torque of 65Nm at 5,000rpm. With this, the bike accelerates from 0 to 60kmph in just 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 209kmph.

The bike is held together by a double cradle frame and is mounted with inverted telescopic coil spring absorbers at the front and link type monoshock at the rear end. It runs on 130/90-16 front and 170/80-15 rear tubeless tyres. Suzuki has fitted Intruder with disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear for effective braking.

The body of Suzuki Intruder is crafted exactly like its elder mate, Suzuki Intruder 1800. The front profile gets a trapezoidal headlamp housed inside a casing just like its bigger version. A lot of chrome has been employed in the bike that finds its place at the engine section, rear view mirrors, muffler and side panels. The rear end incorporates a LED tail lamp that looks stylish along with the dual exhaust system.

Suzuki Intruder M800 measures 2,420mm x 890mm x 1,105mm (LxWxH) and has a wheelbase of 1,655mm. It stands with a minimum ground clearance of 140mm having a 15 liter fuel tank. The instrument cluster of the bike goes traditional with an analogue speedometer and digital readings for the trip meter and fuel gauge. The indicators mounted on the fuel tank are informative and looks ravishing as well. The bike also features a sporty split seat that further enhances its appearance.
