At a similar price point, you can choose from a bunch of different options, including ADVs, cruisers, and even supersports

With Yezdi’s resurrection in India, we got three lip-smacking offerings in the Adventure, Scrambler, and the Roadster. While the Adventure has been priced competitively from Rs 2,04,900 (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards, there are quite a few other motorcycles you can opt for in the same cost bracket if you so wish.

Here’s the list:

Royal Enfield Himalayan

A direct rival to the Yezdi Adventure, the Royal Enfield Himalayan not only retails at a similar price (Rs 2,14,887, ex-showroom Delhi) but also belongs to the same category. It is a seasoned off-roader and appropriate for touring, thanks to its long-travel suspension and the larger front and smaller rear spoke wheels with block-pattern tyres.

Not just that, the Himalayan also gets a Tripper Navigation system like the Adventure. It’s powered by a 411cc single-cylinder air-oil-cooled motor that makes 24.31PS and 32Nm.

Bajaj Dominar 400

Next up, we have the Bajaj Dominar 400. It recently received many new functional updates, including a GPS mount and a rear luggage rack, making it a proper sporty tourer. While it may not possess long legs like the Yezdi Adventure, the Dominar 400 compensates for it with more power. It uses the KTM 390 Duke's engine, but tuned differently, to make 40PS and 35Nm.

Bajaj has priced the Dominar 400 from Rs 2.12 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards.

Honda CB350RS

The Honda CB350RS is yet another alternative to the Yezdi Adventure (if you fancy neo-retro motorcycles, that is).

Priced from Rs 1,99,739 (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards, the CB350RS is powered by a 348.36cc single-cylinder air-cooled counterbalanced engine -- the same as the H'ness CB350 -- that generates 21.07PS and 30Nm. There's a traction control system for increased safety.

While its block pattern tyres give it a scrambler-like feel, the CB350RS can only manage light trails due to the 19/17 (F/R) alloys and the lack of ground clearance.

Royal Enfield Classic 350

Another Royal Enfield motorcycle you could buy in a similar price bracket is the Classic 350. Costing Rs 1,96,125 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the dual-channel ABS variant, the Classic 350 has proved to be a pretty likeable motorcycle and is much better than its predecessor.

The bike is now powered by the J-series motor that develops 20.21PS and 27Nm. Check out our first ride review to know more

2021 KTM RC 200

Last but not least, we have the 2021 KTM RC 200. It retails at Rs 2,08,717 (ex-showroom Delhi) and has received a host of updates in its latest iteration. We’ve already ridden it at the race track, and here’s what we like and dislike about it. We think it's a great corner-carver, really, and it can also be a decent commuter, thanks to its adjustable handlebar.
