TVS Scooty Pep Plus Mudhal Kadhal Edition Launched; Exclusive To Tamil Nadu

A special variant launched in Tamil Nadu just ahead of the Tamil festival of Pongal

If you were to list down the things that India is known for, large swarms of two-wheelers and vibrant festivities would definitely figure somewhere on the list. Combining these two is TVS, which has just launched a special variant of its popular Scooty Pep Plus scooter called the Mudhal Kadhal edition. It translates into ‘first love’ and the variant has been launched just ahead of the Tamil festival of Pongal.

A tribute to the loyal customers in its home state of Tamil Nadu, the MK edition is exclusive to the southern state and even goes as far as showing off its logos in the native language, while also featuring a new colour and graphics scheme. Underneath, though, it’s the same familiar 87.8cc single-cylinder scooter developing a modest 5.4PS and 6.5Nm. Priced at Rs 56,085, it sits in between the two existing variants of the Scooty Pep, both of which have recently received price hikes of their own, which you can read about here.
