Convenience Features
The core of the Ronin's convenience package is the TVS SmartXonnect system, which pairs a fully digital, off-centre instrument cluster with a smartphone via Bluetooth. This enables turn-by-turn navigation, voice assistance for calls, and instant call/SMS alerts. Additionally, you will also be able to know your last parked location. It also provides practical readouts like Distance to Empty (DTE) and a gear shift and position indicator.
For city riding, the Ronin includes Glide Through Technology (GTT), allowing the bike to ride slowly in first, second, and third gears without any throttle or clutch input. This is designed to reduce rider fatigue in heavy, stop-go traffic. Further adding to the smooth experience is the Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), which provides near-silent engine starts. The bike also features 3-step adjustable clutch and brake levers.
Safety Features
The TVS Ronin comes with dual channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) which has two selectable modes, that is, Rain and Urban. The brakes include a 300 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc.
The other significant part is that of the slipper and assist clutch. The slipper mode ensures that the back wheel does not hop when there are aggressive downshifts and the assist mode makes the clutch easier to pull. The lights consist of an all LED system with a T-shaped pilot light, headlight, and tail lamps.
