TVS Raider New Variant Teased, Launch On 19th October

TVS launched the Raider in September 2021, and along with that also announced that it will be launching a top-spec variant of the 125cc bike soon. Not-so-fast-forward to now, more than a year later, TVS has teased the launch of a new variant on October 19.
The Raider already came loaded with segment-first features and incredible performance. However, the new variant will take it to the next step with a five-inch TFT instrument cluster, instead of the LCD console. It will feature Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, music control, and call/message notification alerts.

Apart from the above-mentioned updates, the Raider already comes packed with eco/power riding modes, real time mileage indicators and reminders for service and low battery.
It will come powered by the same powertrain, a 124.8cc, air-oil-cooled mill producing 11.38PS and 11.2Nm. Underpinnings will remain the same as the disc brake-equipped variant as well.
The new variant is likely to command a premium of Rs 4,000 over the disc variant, which is priced at Rs 93,489 (ex-showroom Delhi), hitting it a little too close to the Rs one lakh mark. It rivals the likes of Bajaj Pulsar NS 125, Honda SP125 and Hero Glamour Xtec.
