The TVS Radeon Special Edition has been launched in the country. The bike is available in two variants - drum and disc - which are priced at Rs 52,720 and Rs 54,820 (ex-showroom Delhi). This makes the special edition motorcycle around Rs 2,000 to Rs 4,000 more expensive than the standard model.

Apart from two new colour options - chrome-black and chrome-brown - some minor cosmetic changes and a new seat, the biggest change in the special edition motorcycle is the addition of an optional front disc brake which should help improve its braking performance. With the two-wheeler industry going through its worst downturn in decades, TVS hopes these changes and additions will spur sales and help the company clear its existing stock before BS6 emission norms are implemented in April 2020. TVS Radeon bespeaks a unique classic look with its stylish petrol tank ribbed thigh pads, a chrome finished speedometer, shock absorber shroud and silencer. TVS Radeon houses a long-lasting 109.7cc Dura-Life engine, which is designed to offer an optimum combination of power and fuel economy. The motorcycle churns out 8.4 PS of power @ 7000 rpm with a torque of 8.7 Nm @5000 rpm. TVS Radeon is equipped with a 10-litre tank and clocks a fuel economy of 69.3 kmpl 1.
