Finally TVS comes to limelight. TVS Phoenix 125 has been launched by TVS Motors after a seemingly long wait. Since the prices have been risen few days back, this has become the most-concerned issue for all, so here we give the price you the first thing. The company has been tagged at the most affordable price. It can be owned for Rs. 53,000, keeping the bike in the economical commuter segment. With the price and specs of Phoenix, one can assumer it has been set in competition with Honda CB Shine, Bajaj Discover 125, Hero Super Splendor. The company goes on to claim a mileage of 67 kilometer per liter. With the features, we assume that Phoenix is a more of the Star City with a fresh engine and some more added features. The Chairman of TVS Motors, Venu Srinivasan, who was present at the event of launch in Chennai, has the following to say, “We have developed an all new engine for this motorcycle.
It complements several unique features to ensure premium ride quality. This launch will increase our market share in the segment. We are now present in economy, executive and premium segments of the motorcycle market.” Phoenix 125 comes with, as the name suggests, with a 125cc engine, a digital speedometer that would feature service date and low battery reminder, trip meter, fuel gauge. The bike is an electric start one, with a 5 step series spring adjustable suspension, with the front having a petal disc, and 4 speed transmission. This 4 stroke engine burns up a peak power of 11 PS at an RPM of 8000, 10 Nm of torque, thus promising the heart-warming city locomotion. Single seat, alloy wheels, single stitched seat, LED lights, body graphics are other side features that might impress you.

- Pickup and mileage are great.For 125cc engine, overall pickup and mileage, both are good. Gear transmission pattern should have been 1 down 3 up instead of all up because traffic conditions require such a pattern. I have ridden 50,000 Km since Aug 2015 and the front sprocket shaft is damaged. I need to replace it with getting the engine down. Back shock absorbers not working now.Read More1
