TVS Jive, the first and only bike in the world that has unique feature of anti-knock mechanism- it makes smooth riding possible at low speeds even in high gears without shutting down the engine- has just been launched in Sri Lankan Market by TVS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
TVS Lanka, the 100 per cent subsidiary of India based TVS Motors, has forayed in the Sri Lankan market with the launching of this 100cc and cutting edge bike. The Sri Lankan variant of TVS Jive is as same as Indian version. And Sri Lankan are feeling good after getting this clutch-less bike there, the bike is the first choice for new learner, women and college going students.
TVS Jive is also getting good response in Indian market and now winning hearts of Sri Lankans. The TVS Jive is four stroke bike that is loaded with a 110cc engine. The engine of the bike offers maximum power of 8.4 Bhp at 7500 rpm and a torque of 8.3 Nm at 5500 rpm. And the absence of clutch lever make it even popular for any generation. It is the world's first bike which is loaded with innovative T-Matic technology and anti-knock mechanism.
The bike is also boasted with electric start system. It is equipped with alloy wheels, long and big seat that has big storage space, attractive body design, simple and minimum graphics on the body that give it crazy look in the segment. This can be handled easily because its maximum weight is 110 Kgs and wheelbase is 1260mm which is almost same as Hero Honda CD Deluxe, Hero Honda CD Dawn, Honda CB Twister, Bajaj Platina 100cc, etc.
TVS Jive also offers good mileage with the fuel tank capacity of 15 litres with 2.7 litres as reserve. Right now traffic problem is growing in city and township areas thus TVS Jive is the ideal solution. And Sri Lankan cities and towns are having almost same traffic pressure on roads, so the bike might get good response.

- Great Performance and Handling but City Mileage CoI chose the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V TFT USD model mainly for its sporty design, features and strong road presence. The bike feels very stable on highways and comfortable for daily city rides. Handling is sharp and confidence inspiring. It is also good for family usage when riding normally. Overall the build quality, braking and features like TFT display make the bike feel premium in this segment. Ride quality so far has been very good. The Apache RTR 160 4V TFT USD has excellent handling and stability. In highways the bike feels planted and smooth even at higher speeds. Braking performance and suspension are also good for most road conditions. But the biggest downside for me is the city mileage. In city I am getting around 28 to 32 kmpl, which is lower than expected for a 160cc bike. If someone wants good performance, sporty design, great handling and modern features, the Apache RTR 160 4V TFT USD is a very good choice. However mileage is the only reason I hesitate to recommend it to everyone. Competitors like Pulsar N160 give better mileage in city conditions. So if mileage is your main priority you may consider other options, but apart from that the bike is really enjoyable to ride.Read More3

- Apache RTR reviewAccording to online review it's the best bike in the segment. I reviewed other bikes in the segment and everybody has their pros and cons but this is the overall best friend and it has been running on the roads were years that's why. Very punchy and comfortable. It's very manuvareble in traffic and the blood through technology is very helpful in the driving also when it comes to I wait as a very good performance. Mileage is pretty good. Yes to anyone in this segment. Even even has an interesting 160 CC segment this is the best way to go for according to me as it as too much features for the price range and it is very much good for this age group.Read More6 3
