A 5% drop in sales in May 2012 has awoken the sleeping giant in TVS Bikes. Now, a resurging TVS Bikes is all set to mark an entry into the 125cc commuter segment with its all new offering to be called TVS Phoenix 125. TVS Phoenix 125 photographs taken while it being tested, shows a smartly styled bike with aircraft inspired decals, all black suspensions and engine crankcase. Apart from having all the specs normally included in the 125cc category, TVS Phoenix 125 specifications include twin LED pilot lamps, engine kill switch (as a standard), hazard warning facility and digital instruments. It also has got equipped with an up market flush set tail lamp and a dual perforated stitching on its riding saddle. A 5 speed gear box drives a set of 6 spoked alloy wheels (black again) making it better on potholes and unique on Indian roads.
Where this bike establishes itself as very unique is its digital console. It is going to include a speedometer, a tachometer, an odometer, a trip meter and also a clock. The 125cc competition in likes of Honda CBF Stunner, Bajaj Discover 125ST and Hero Ignitor is blown away with a 4 stroke engine of 124.8cc producing 10.4bhp with a peak torque of 1.02kg. This will surely ensure good efficiency and performance.

- Pickup and mileage are great.For 125cc engine, overall pickup and mileage, both are good. Gear transmission pattern should have been 1 down 3 up instead of all up because traffic conditions require such a pattern. I have ridden 50,000 Km since Aug 2015 and the front sprocket shaft is damaged. I need to replace it with getting the engine down. Back shock absorbers not working now.Read More1
