TVS Creon-based E-scooter Spied In Bengaluru
The TVS iQube’s sporty sibling could make things difficult for the Ather 450X and Simple One

TVS has invested a considerable chunk of cash in electric vehicles through acquisitions and partnerships. Having expressed plans to widen its EV portfolio in the years to come, is it surprising that this TVS Creon-based test mule has been spotted in Bengaluru? No. But, is it intriguing? You bet.

The TVS iQube opened the EV innings for the Indian marque and the firm recently gave it a major update too. The iQube now retails in three variants- standard, S and ST and each one offers a bit more range and sophistication than the next.
But, the general demeanor and styling of this e-scooter is more commuter than sporty and this is where we are hoping the Creon-based electric scooter steps in.
Back in 2018, the Creon concept showcased at the Auto Expo was seen wearing a sporty, performance-focused avatar. While the final production variant will deviate from the concept’s sharp body lines, the test mule is seen wearing a similar looking muscular apron and a prominent digital dash.
While the digital cluster’s mounting appears to be similar to the iQube, the console has a different shape. Furthermore, the contoured single seat and the rear body panel looks similar to the iQube and so do the rear-view mirrors. But the final production version will surely be different.
We expect this e-scooter to pack more performance than the iQube as the concept showcased at the expo was claimed to offer performance comparable to 150cc bikes such the Suzuki Gixxer and Yamaha FZ-S Fi.
The concept also had a claimed 0-60kmph time of 5.1 seconds and a claimed range figure of 80km. That said, we expect TVS to offer the EV with more range than just 80km, because it has managed to do the same for the iQube as well.
When the Creon gets introduced, it will take on the likes of the Ather 450X, Simple One and Ola S1 Pro. We could see its debut take place sometime around mid-2023.
