The much anticipated TVS Apache 200 has now gained the attention of almost every web junkie that browses motorcycles these days. With just 3 days left for its launch, the bike has again been spotted drenched in camouflage paint in Indonesia in a clear, high-resolution image. The machine is spotted in full profile and comes across as more aggressive than the existing RTRs.

The bike in the latest spy shots is seen with an edgy headlamp with a minimum amount of body work to give a meaner appeal. The bike gets clip-on handlebars and the rear is exposed to showcase its sporty DNA. The new Apache will also receive split, step-up seats to complement its presence. The bike has been officially named as TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and was teased on the Indonesian website of TVS few days ago. If reports at Rushlane are to be believed, the Indian-spec Apache 200 would be getting TVS rubber while the one slated for Indonesia will roll on Pirelli tyres. Furthermore, the bike will come in two variants viz. with and without dual-channel ABS along with dual disc brakes as standard equipment.

As earlier reported by us, the flagship from TVS will be the most powerful bike in its segment and would be quicker than its biggest rival - KTM 200 Duke. Powering the machine is a 200cc, four-stroke, air-cooled with oil cooler engine that comes linked to a five-speed transmission and puts out a maximum power of 25.6bhp with a peak torque of 22Nm. Besides, the new Apache will come equipped with white LED DRLs, W-shaped rear body grab rails, fully digital instrument cluster, first-in-range rear monoshock and much more. The base variant is expected to be priced over Rs. 85,000 and it will be interesting to see if the bike manages to take down the well-established KTM 200 Duke from its throne or not. Stay tuned to BikeDekho to get more updates on the launch!
