Suzuki's Turbocharged 'Recursion' will soon be a reality!!

Suzuki's concept of a turbocharged bike is going to be a reality in near future as Recursion concept of Suzuki is going to be in production soon. This was reported by the Japanese Magazine Young Machine.



This news seemed to be a rumour but as Suzuki filed trademarks for the name “Recursion” a few days back there looks like its not a rumour after all. Though this bike made its first public appearance at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, the company has filed a patent for the one of its kind turbocharged design a only a couple of months back. Featuring lightweight, narrow, and sporty looks this bike has many people smitten with this forced induction bike.



Suzuki Recursion is claimed of producing 100 HP of power at 8000 RPM with its 588 cc turbocharged engine. But to our surprise this concept holds an upper hand of producing a 100 NM torque at only 4500 RPM. Now, that’s the torque of a liter-bike, spread over a rev range two/three times larger, shoved into a middleweight frame making it 50% more fuel efficient which makes it a machine to look forward to. This engine will probably be implemented with an intercooler on a SOHC layout.

There will definitely be some changes from the 'actual' concept but its futuristic design will attract the bikers with the all-new LED headlamps, semi-fairing, underbelly exhaust, carbon monocoque seat cowl, upside-down front fork, single-sided swingarm and number plate mount over the rear wheel.

We expect this new concept to be the life saver for Suzuki which is still struggling to make a mark in the market and in the recent past has just managed to do mere updates in the existing models. So it was the time for Suzuki to take on the challenge from the fellow Japanese manufacturers such as Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha, who are doing quite well. Sources are expecting to witness the first rendering of this concept at the next Tokyo Motor Show or EICMA.
