Both are very popular 125cc scooters in India, but hold different personalities. Here's how they differ in looks

Access 125 vs Honda Activa 125

When you shop for a 125cc scooter in India, the Suzuki Access 125 and Honda Activa 125 are usually the first two names on the list. Both are family-friendly and reliable, but they don't look the same at all. One goes for a retro-ish look, while the other sticks to a rounder, familiar shape that Indian buyers have trusted for years. Here's a closer look at how these two scooters differ from every angle.

    Front Design: Sharp vs Familiar

The Suzuki Access 125 gets an LED headlamp with a chrome ring around it. The boxy headlight design gives it that retro edge, and the rounded, chromed-out rear-view mirrors complement it rather nicely. The headlamp sits neatly above the apron, while the creases on either side add a bit more character. It comes in 6 premium colour schemes across the variants.

The Honda Activa 125 has a slightly rounder, more modern design. It also has a full-LED headlamp, but the overall look is matured, and is not meant to be attention-grabbing. The fat chrome highlights on the headlight cowl and on the apron add a dose of premium quotient. That said,  Honda has stuck with a shape that hasn't changed too much over the years, which works in its favour. You get a wide range of 8 colours in this one.

    Side Profile: Curvy vs Streamlined

From the side, the Access 125 looks a bit curvy, especially with the arcing contours on the side panel. On the other hand, the Activa’s panel looks bulky, but the visual heft is hidden well by the sharp creases and the premium chrome strip. Both scooters get flush-fit pillion footpegs, which makes the side profile look less cluttered. Plus, folding the footpegs when not in use means it won’t foul with your legs. The floorboard is wide, and the seat is long enough for both the rider and the pillion on both scooters.

Both scooters are available with alloy wheels, although the Access 125 gets pressed-steel wheels on its base Standard variant. The alloys definitely look more premium.

    Rear Design: Simple vs Chunky

At the back, the Access 125 keeps things clean, with an LED taillight that matches the rest of its understated design. Nothing about the rear tries too hard to stand out, but the LED tail light definitely looks more modern.

The Activa 125's rear looks a bit chunkier, perfectly contributing to its bulkier body panels. It’s got a distinct H-shaped design that’s instantly recognisable. That said, we’d have liked it if the tail light was LED.

    Which One Looks Better?

Both scooters are built for the same everyday rider, just with different personalities. The Access 125 feels a bit retro but pretty feature-packed and premium, whereas the Activa 125 has a more familiar, understated look. If you want a modern scooter that blends with the crowd, then the Activa 125 will be a better choice. Those who want a retro design without compromising on practicality will find the Access 125 appealing. That said, the Access 125 offers sportier performance, while balancing mileage, whereas the Activa 125 is the more refined, laidback one.

As for the mileage, in our city riding we got 44-50kmpl with the Access 125. The Activa 125 returned 52.63kmpl in the city and just over 51kmpl on the highway in our tests, coming out slightly ahead.

Price works in the Access' favour, though. It starts at Rs 82,185, noticeably cheaper than the Activa 125's Rs 89,656 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).

      Positive Review of Access 125
As being an adult, I needed a vehicle to commute to places, I had to select a scooter for house chores and personal uses. I took advice from many people, used AI for comparisons, took reviews, test rides and then selected it as a final decision. So far the ride is comfortable, we can ride for hours without getting back pain or anything, with a good mileage receiving at a petrol scooter, I have no tension about how much I ride on daily basis, the handling, brakes, tyres and suspension are all best. A family person or a new adult should purchase it or as a first two wheeler owner too. You can purchase it. I would surely recommend to you. I will take guarantee of u not regretting getting this scooter.

      Good performance
Maine yeh bike iske stylish looks aur family-friendly comfort ke liye chuni hai. Yeh acha mileage deti hai aur highways par kaafi smooth chalti hai. City rides mein suspension thoda stiff lagta hai, par iski overall reliability isse perfect banati hai. Ride ab tak kamaal ki rahi hai. Iska comfort aur handling behad zabardast hai, jisse highway par tez speed mein chalana aasan ho jata hai. Mileage bhi kaafi acha hai. Bas bumpy city roads par suspension thoda stiff lagta hai. Highly recommend! Yeh un logon ke liye perfect hai jo daily commute ke sath weekend highway rides pasand karte hain. Iske superb mileage, stylish looks aur rock-solid reliability ke liye ise zaroor khareedein. Bas kharab raston par suspension thoda stiff hai.
