MV Agusta has tied up with Loncin Motorcycles to make premium small capacity motorcycles here.
These motorcycles would most likely come via the CKD route.
We could expect four motorcycles to arrive: a supersport, a naked, an adventure tourer and possibly a neo-retro naked.
MV Agusta has recently partnered with Chinese bike maker Loncin Motor Company to manufacture small capacity motorcycles in the range of 350 to 500cc. Now official sources have confirmed that we will see these bikes launched in India by the later part of 2020 or early 2021. Initially, four types of motorcycles will come out of the collaboration. While MV Agusta has not revealed much about these small capacity motorcycles, we believe they could be a supersport (F1 or F2?), a naked (Brutale 400?), an adventure tourer (Turismo Veloce 400) and perhaps a neo-retro naked like the Dragster.

The motorcycles will feature beautiful lines like MV Agusta but will be made at Loncin’s plant in Chongqing, China. They will be designed by MV Agusta at its Castiglioni Research Centre in Italy.
India being a strong market for small capacity motorcycles has seen quite a few premium bikemakers like Benelli set shop here and sell small capacity bikes. Even the Motoroyale brand umbrella, besides MV Agusta, has niche brands like SWM and FB Mondial sell small to mid-capacity motorcycles here.

If done right, we could see an MV Agusta Brutale 400 go up against the likes of the upcoming Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 and Swartpilen 401 in India in the future.

- A True SuperbikeMV Agusta Brutale 800 is the first superbike I had bought and it's is just a lot smoother and faster and brutal than I thought. The bike gives an amazing acceleration and controlling this bike at high speeds is good the only problem is the petrol, the bike just gives about 18kmpl. Other all things are good. Its details are: the mv Agusta Brutale 800 is powered by a 798 cc air-cooled engine which produces 110 ps of power. It has a fuel tank of 16.5 liters. It has a beautiful led lamp in the headlight. It has an amazing performance, it reaches from 0-100kmph in 3.8 secs. Well, when you go to the service thing it costs around 5k-6k for the service. Pros:1. Superb performance 2. Digital speedometer 3. Excellent design 4. Maximum comfort 5. Excellent braking Cons:1. Very low mileage at 18kmpl.Read More7 1
