Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Colours And Variants Leaked

The bike will be available in three variants and seven colours in total

The bike will be available in three variants and seven colours in total

[Update: Royal Enfield has launched the Meteor 350 in India. Head here for the pricing and other details regarding the launch]

  • The Fireball is the base variant, whereas the Stellar and Supernova are the mid-spec and top-end variants respectively.
  • All variants feature turn-by-turn navigation as standard.
  • The primary differences between the variants are the colour and additional accessories like backrest, windshield, etc.

Brochure scans of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 have been leaked online ahead of its official launch in September. The leaked images give us a clear idea of the variants and colour choices. The motorcycle will be available in three variants: base Fireball, mid-spec Stellar and top-of-the-line Supernova.

The Fireball variant will be available in two colours in gloss finish: Fireball Yellow and Fireball Red. On the other hand, the mid-spec Stellar variant will be offered in either red or blue metallic gloss finish apart from a matte black colour option. The Supernova variant will be available in either brown or blue, both with dual-tone finishes.

The base variant will get a coloured fuel tank and rim tapes, while the rest of the parts are blacked out. It also gets a simple Royal Enfield sticker on the tank instead of the 3D logo in the Stellar and Supernova variants. The Stellar colour variant gets colour-coded body panels, chromed out handlebar, fuel injector cover and exhaust. It also gets a cushioned backrest for better pillion comfort.

The top-end Supernova variant features premium dual-tone alloy wheels and paint, along with a premium seat cover, chromed out indicators, cushioned backrest, and a windscreen. All said and done, the three variants get turn-by-turn navigation and alloy wheels as standard.

While the changes are mostly cosmetic, we’re sure Royal Enfield will offer the cushioned backrest and the windshield as optional extras so customers who buy the entry-level Fireball variant can also spruce up their ride. Apart from them, expect other accessories like panniers, saddle stays and crash guards to be available as well.

One of the brochure images also reveals a twin-pod semi-digital instrument cluster. The main pod houses the speedometer and a digital inset containing relevant information like dual tripmeters and a low-fuel reading. The secondary pod gets a digital screen which acts as a display for the turn-by-turn navigation. Naturally, the Meteor 350 range will be compatible with a smartphone. This is a step above the previous-generation Thunderbird 350 which featured average speeds for two tripmeter readings, a clock and other run-of-the-mill information. Expect the voluminous 20-litre fuel tank to be carried over from the Thunderbird 350. All these features in the new Meteor 350 should make it a more practical tourer than its predecessor.

The all-new powertrain is expected to be a lot more refined than the 346cc UCE engine that powered the Thunderbird 350. It is also expected to be more powerful and torquier than the Thunderbird 350, which produced 19.3PS and 28Nm. It could also get a 6-speed transmission, which should improve the bike’s highway worthiness considerably. You can check out more details about the upcoming bike here.

Expect Royal Enfield to launch the motorcycle at around Rs 1.60 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom) depending on the variants. Once launched, it will go up against the Bajaj Dominar 250 and the Jawa Forty Two.

Excellent bike for long rides

In term of riding the bike really good I've had many great riding experiences with it. The performance is excellent and fuel tank capacity is also good. So there's no worry on long rides. The service network is available in many places so that's not a concern either. Maintenance costs are also quite reasonable. Read More

Most Comfortable bike

Among all two-wheelers, the Royal Enfield Meteor offers the most comfortable ride, and its maintenance cost is also the lowest. It's a 350cc bike, yet it still delivers a mileage of 30–35 km/l on the road. For those who are passionate about two-wheeler riding, the best bike is the Royal Enfield Meteor.Read More
