The bike is offered in two variants, and we help you pick one, if you are confused

The 2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 was recently launched, and it received a bunch of much-needed updates. These  include changes to the bike’s suspension setup, an LED headlight, a new handlebar setup and more. The bike is still offered in 2 variants, and here’s a detailed breakdown of what each has to offer.

    Hunter 350 Retro Variant

This is the base variant of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, and also the most affordable one at Rs 1,49,900 (ex-showroom, Chennai). This variant features spoke wheels, with tube tyres. The braking setup consists of a 300mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum.

The spoke wheels with tube tyre setup makes fixing tyre punctures a lot harder. But at this price point, this is the only 350cc motorcycle that you can get. The Retro variant is perfect for those who are looking for a Royal Enfield bike on a budget. It is currently only offered in 1 colour scheme: Factory Black.

    Hunter 350 Metro

The Metro variant of the Hunter 350 is the more modern variant of the 2 and it is offered in 5 colours. Here’s a brief breakdown of price by colours:

    Sub-variant

    Colour

    Price (ex-showroom Chennai)

    Metro Single Tone

    Rio White

    Rs 1,76,750

    Dapper Grey

    Rs 1,76,750

    Metro Dual Tone

    Rebel Blue

    Rs 1,81,750

    London Red

    Rs 1,81,750

    Tokyo Black

    Rs 1,81,750

With the 2025 update, the Metro Dapper and Rebel variants have been consolidated into a single Metro variant, with 2 sub-variants: Single-Tone and Dual-Tone. The Dapper/Single-Tone has seen a price increase of Rs 7,094 and the Dual-Tone/Rebel sub-variant has seen an increase of Rs 7,095.

Out of the 5 colours, the Tokyo Black, London Red and Rio White are new additions as part of the 2025 update. The Rio White colour scheme gives the bike a white finish on the tank, with a triple tone graphic with green, blue and yellow. Along with this, the bike has got a black ‘Ro’ lettering on the side.

The London Red colour scheme, on the other hand, offers a red finish on the tank with black graphics. The Tokyo Black colour looks quite good. It features a black and white finish on the tank along with a red Royal Enfield logo.

The Metro variant has a lot more to offer as compared to the base retro variant. It gets a 270mm disc brake at the rear along with alloy wheels. Other than this, the Metro variant also gets a new LED headlight, a more comfortable seat, a slip-and-assist clutch along with more plush suspension. The ground clearance of the bike had been increased by 10mm as well, and is now 160mm. The change is not that big, but is still quite a welcome one.

Features wise, the bike now gets a type-c USB fast charging port. Lastly, it also has the Royal Enfield Tripper Navigation module for smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

    Verdict

The Retro variant of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 makes sense if you’re looking for a Royal Enfield bike on a budget. This base variant misses out on the 2025 updates, which is why Royal Enfield has been able to keep the pricing the same.

The Metro variant of the bike is more geared towards riders who want something that is a bit more premium and feature packed.

    RE Hunter 350 London Red

The updates overall are a welcome change, and the addition of a more plush suspension setup will go a long way in improving the ride quality and comfort. Other than these changes, both the variants are still powered by the same 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 20.21PS and 27Nm.

Brilliant City + Highway Bike. Fully Satisfied!*
Brilliant city and highway bike. Fully satisfied. I have driven my Hunter 350 for almost 17,000 kms and everything is fantastic. The ride comfort is superb both on streets and highways. It handles traffic easily and is equally stable on long rides. The ride quality is brilliant with less vibrations and smooth engine. Looks are amazing - it has that perfect retro + modern street bike presence. Everywhere I go, people ask about it. Mileage, maintenance and overall reliability has been great. Fully satisfied with my purchase. Hunter 350 is the best bike in this segment.

royal enfield hunter 350 my review
It's a really good bike to ride in the city. Really good torque and also has amazing exhaust. Note even with stock however the rear suspension is a bit hard. Not a bad bike at all if you are looking for daily commuting along with a good amount of power. Eyecatching and people have even stopped me to ask about the bike and overall the bike is really good.

      Royal enfield the build machine
My first preference is short height bike because it's easy to handle it plus maintenance was so reliable. As per compare to the other with the same segment Hunter is far better then others. I really love to ride royal enfield bikes. For the city riding you love it like handling was very amazing plus throttle response is very amazing. For the lobby route you can adjust your seat or add some cusion over the seat or buy the new seat. For the city purpose you can buy this bike only. As I have a classic 350 and metor. l really like to ride hunter only because that machine is more powerfull as compared to other RE machine like the engine sound and silencer sound without changing any parts it shows the old version one.
