The cheapest Royal Enfield bike could be even more affordable after September 22, 2025

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 could receive a substantial price cut with the new GST rates. Earlier, two-wheelers under 350cc were taxed at 28 percent GST. Now under GST 2.0, it has been cut to 18 percent. This is a 10 percent decrease in taxes, and could significantly impact the price. Here’s everything you need to know:

    How Much Can You Save?

Here’s a detailed breakdown of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350’s current prices and what it could be with the new tax cuts:

    Colour/Variant

    Current Price (ex-showroom Chennai)

    Expected Price Decrease

    Expected New Price (ex-showroom, Chennai)

    Factory Black (Retro)

    Rs 1,49,900

    Rs 11,711

    Rs 1.38 Lakh

    Rio White

    Rs 1,76,750

    Rs 13,808

    Rs 1.63 Lakh

    Dapper Grey

    Graphite Grey

    Rs 1,81,750

    Rs 14,199

    Rs 1.67 Lakh

    London Red

    Tokyo Black

The Hunter 350 is already the most affordable Royal Enfield bike in India, and it could soon become even more accessible once the new GST rates are enforced on September 22, 2025. If you’re planning to buy the Hunter, we’d suggest you wait until then so that you can save up to around Rs 14,000, depending on the variant.

As for the best Hunter 350 variant to buy, our choice is the mid-spec Rio White / Dapper Grey / Graphite Grey variants. The mid-spec version comes with all the necessary features (semi-digital instrument console with turn-by-turn navigation) and updates for 2025 (read revised seat and suspension for better comfort, LED headlight) - making it the best value-for-money Royal Enfield 350cc bike.

Reducing GST for bikes under 350cc will benefit Royal Enfield as the major chunk of the sales from the brand comes in from its 350cc range that also includes the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Royal Enfield Bullet 350, Meteor 350, and the Goan Classic 350.

That said, the higher capacity offerings from the brand such as the Himalayan 450 might get costlier. This is something which customers who were looking to upgrade to a more powerful Royal Enfield may not like. However, if you’re planning to buy a bigger Royal Enfield bike, now would be the right time to buy - before the new GST kicks in from September 22. Do note that you’ll be able to save if you manage to get your bike delivered before the deadline for the new GST implementation.

royal enfield hunter 350 my review
It's a really good bike to ride in the city. Really good torque and also has amazing exhaust. Note even with stock however the rear suspension is a bit hard. Not a bad bike at all if you are looking for daily commuting along with a good amount of power. Eyecatching and people have even stopped me to ask about the bike and overall the bike is really good.

      Royal enfield the build machine
My first preference is short height bike because it's easy to handle it plus maintenance was so reliable. As per compare to the other with the same segment Hunter is far better then others. I really love to ride royal enfield bikes. For the city riding you love it like handling was very amazing plus throttle response is very amazing. For the lobby route you can adjust your seat or add some cusion over the seat or buy the new seat. For the city purpose you can buy this bike only. As I have a classic 350 and metor. l really like to ride hunter only because that machine is more powerfull as compared to other RE machine like the engine sound and silencer sound without changing any parts it shows the old version one.
