Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 New Prices After GST Hike: Could Get More Expensive
We might see a big jump in the ex-showroom rates across all the variants
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will become more expensive after September 22, 2025. The Himalayan, being a 450cc motorcycle, will attract a 40% GST rate once the new tax slabs are implemented. Earlier, the bike was taxed at 28% GST and a 3% cess, taking the total tax up to 31%.

The new expected prices are significantly higher than the current prices, with an average bump of about Rs 20,000 across variants.

The upcoming price increase due to the GST hike is a bit saddening. This will also impact other higher-capacity offerings in the Royal Enfield lineup such as the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Only the 350cc models, such as the Hunter 350, Classic 350 and Bullet 350, benefit from reduced GST.

Feels like a bigger bike compared to previous generations. Bigger tank unlocks better highway travels. - Best in the classI'm kinda adventures and I do a lot of touring and cover a lot of kms. wanted service centres in case any issue with the bike. - Himalayan 450 review after riding it for 500kmsThe himalayan 450 got such a rally style design which I love it. It got the good school design with a modern twist which looks fabulous. It can take anywhere around on road or off road, the performance of the bike is really good. The bike has good amount power and I'm satisfied with what I got. When you are riding the bike it's really comfortable around the city roads with dumps and pot holes, you don't feel those dumps and potholes due to the suspension which is not adjustable but does the job. The performance of the bike is fabulous, the bike got enough power and torque to go around anywhere. The only downside is weight of the bike which is mostly front heavy, its a big deal to move the bike around while not riding. Yes absolutely, I recommend this bike for touring and off-road enthusiasts. However this bike can be used a daily commuter but one should keep in mind that the bike gives you around 19 to 21 kms mileage per litre.
