Royal Enfield Hunter 350 All Variants: Which One To Buy In 2026?

Check out which variant is more suitable for you

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is built on the same platform as the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, and the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. It is available in two variants – Retro, and Metro which are priced from Rs 1,37,650 to Rs 1,66,883 (ex-showroom, Chennai). Here’s how the two variants differ from each other :

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Retro Variant

The most-affordable Retro variant of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is only available in the Factory Black colour scheme and is priced at Rs 1,37,640 (ex-showroom).

In this variant, you get a 300mm front disc and a 153mm drum brake with single-channel ABS as standard. You also get 17-inch spoked wheels, wrapped in a 100-section front and a 120-section rear tubed tyres. Since these are tubed tyres, it will be a hassle to repair punctures. .

This variant gets a halogen headlamp that adds to the retro appeal of the bike. This gets a rather simple semi-digital instrument console – with a boxy digital inset under the speedometer readings. The display has an odometer, trip meter, and a fuel gauge.

This variant misses out the LED headlight, slipper clutch and the USB C charging port, which are available in the Metro variant.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Metro Variant

The Metro variant of the Hunter 350 has a lot of changes (in its latest avatar) over the Retro variant. Firstly, the Metro variant is available in 6 colour schemes: Tokyo Black, London Red, Rebel Blue, Dapper Grey, Rio White, and Graphite Grey. Take a closer look at the colour schemes. Here’s the detailed price list of all the Metro variant colours:

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Metro Variant Colour Scheme

Price (Ex-showroom, Chennai)

Rio White

Rs 1,62,292

Dapper Grey

Graphite Grey

Rebel Blue

Rs 1,66,883

London Red

Tokyo Black

*(all prices are ex-showroom, Chennai)

All of these colour schemes look quite beautiful, and have equally premium graphics on them. These colours also come with matching rim stickers on their 17-inch alloy wheels. Also, on this variant, the bike gets wider tyres – a 110-section front and a 140-section rear tubeless type. The bike also gets a 300mm front and a 270mm rear disc brake, with dual-channel ABS as standard.

Unlike the base variant, this gets the slip-and-assist clutch, LED headlamp and tail-lamp, and the more advanced semi-digital instrument console. The instrument console gets an analogue speedometer, with a circular LCD inset that shows readouts of tripmeters, fuel gauge, gear position, and a clock. The bike also comes with a Tripper Navigation Pod as standard, which enables the turn-by-turn navigation functionality. If you want to know more about its features, check out our detailed features explainer.  The Hunter can also be modified with several add-ons sold officially by the brand.

BikeDekho Says

In our opinion, while the base variant may be a good choice for budget-conscious buyers, it will offer a compromised experience. We think that the Metro variant is the one you should go for, as it comes with all the modern tech and useful features. It is also a lot safer with its dual-channel ABS. The premium is quite reasonable when you look at the bike as a whole package. Moreover, if you have set your eyes on the Hunter 350, and want more information about it, check out its detailed explainer. Apart from this, if you want to know its on-road pricing, check out this pricing explainer, and the booking details. Better yet, go through our Ultimate Buying Guide. Also, if the Hunter 350 fails to make an impression, and you are looking to buy any other two-wheeler, here are the top 5 alternatives for the same price.

Brilliant City + Highway Bike. Fully Satisfied!*

Brilliant city and highway bike. Fully satisfied. I have driven my Hunter 350 for almost 17,000 kms and everything is fantastic. The ride comfort is superb both on streets and highways. It handles traffic easily and is equally stable on long rides. The ride quality is brilliant with less vibrations and smooth engine. Looks are amazing - it has that perfect retro + modern street bike presence. Everywhere I go, people ask about it. Mileage, maintenance and overall reliability has been great. Fully satisfied with my purchase. Hunter 350 is the best bike in this segment.Read More

royal enfield hunter 350 my review

It's a really good bike to ride in the city. Really good torque and also has amazing exhaust. Note even with stock however the rear suspension is a bit hard. Not a bad bike at all if you are looking for daily commuting along with a good amount of power. Eyecatching and people have even stopped me to ask about the bike and overall the bike is really good.Read More

Royal enfield the build machine

My first preference is short height bike because it's easy to handle it plus maintenance was so reliable. As per compare to the other with the same segment Hunter is far better then others. I really love to ride royal enfield bikes. For the city riding you love it like handling was very amazing plus throttle response is very amazing. For the lobby route you can adjust your seat or add some cusion over the seat or buy the new seat. For the city purpose you can buy this bike only. As I have a classic 350 and metor. l really like to ride hunter only because that machine is more powerfull as compared to other RE machine like the engine sound and silencer sound without changing any parts it shows the old version one.
