Quick Highlights:
-
It’s expected to be a more hardcore off-road-friendly Himalayan, sitting above the standard Himalayan 450

Will likely get fully adjustable long-travel suspension, better range with auxiliary tanks, along with other essential bits
-
Expect the India launch to happen in December
Royal Enfield has teased the upcoming Himalayan 450 Rally through its social media channels. We think it will be launched in the European markets at EICMA 2025, on November 4. This new version is expected to take the off-road performance of the standard Himalayan 450 to the next level, while still being road-legal.
The teaser does not disclose much at first glance, however closer inspection of the clip reveals that the bike is the 450 Rally and not the Himalayan 750. The Himalayan 450 Rally was also spotted at EICMA 2024 and this upcoming version is expected to be a more refined version. That said, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is still in the works and it was recently spotted testing.
Judging by the teaser image and the thumbnail, the bike appears to have a different, probably shorter windshield, standard knuckle guards, spoke wheels that are compatible with tubeless tyres, upswept exhaust (likely to be a road-legal aftermarket unit), a compact engine guard with sump guard, and a stubbier tail section. Interestingly, the different panels on the tail section might mean that it may have additional fuel tanks at the rear, offering extra range over the stock fuel tank at the front. The seat is also likely to be a different rally-styled one, possibly taller too. More importantly, it may also have a long-travel fully adjustable suspension to tackle rough terrain better. This will also allow riders to fine-tune damping and rebound for different off-road conditions. Expect the overall weight to also be slightly lower so that it’s easier to handle the bike off-road.
With all these significant changes the Rally version is expected to be about Rs 30,000 more expensive than the top-end variant of the standard version (which costs Rs 3,19,682 ex-showroom Delhi). As for its launch in India, we think that may happen at Royal Enfield’s yearly motorcycle festival in November, called the Royal Enfield Motoverse 2025. We will be reporting live from the show, so stay tuned!
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 User Reviews
I chose this because i love going to mountains and travelling through dirt trails and since i wanted to travel across Himalayas the first option that came my mind was Himalayan 450 because my cousin had Himalayan 411 back then and he loved the experience so i thought same beast with extra power would be a great choice. Honestly everything is good and perfect as i had imagined, The comfort is good the abs is great suspension, perfect and the 17L fuel tank is absolutely perfect, I never feel the necessity to carry extra fuel with me. Yes, i would really recommend this bike to someone who is interested in travelling or doing long rides like ladakh, Warwan you can go to any offroad batch or destination in this bike and also this bike performs well on highway too. I'm truly into adventurous and among tourer bike. I have like very few options and this one is far better among all bikes and it is very big good power and torque, good cc and it looks good on roads. Ride has been really good smooth, engine is great, suspension and stable highways, a bit heavy in city traffic, tough but on highways its so smooth and riding been fun on ghat roads too, like the rural area type. Yes, definitely its perfect for touring and weekend rides, if you mostly in the city it might feel too heavy, if you are tall there would be no problem for you but if you are short and basic, its not build for you.Read More

Purely because of Royal Enfield reliability Upgrading from a 2015 classic 350 to Himalayan 450 is a massive difference, Literally is built for no roads. Feels like a bigger bike compared to previous generations. Bigger tank unlocks better highway travels. Positive about the bike is the Ride has been the smoothest the engine is very responsive in a good way. It is aggressive when you need it to be the plush suspension lets you move on and off road freely without any issues. Can be easily managed in traffic. Really good on the highways excellent seat comfort for the rider and the pillion for city travel as well as long highway travelling. Can be used as a daily commuter bike in city Negative about the bike Should have had the option for cruise control and quick shifter for better riding experience. I will definitely recommend this bike to the person who can firstly handle such a tall and heavy bike With great power comes great responsibility so if it is going to the first ever bike i will recommend to start riding the bike in eco mode to first get a hang of power and throttle response Read More
