From another bobber, naked to an adventure motorcycle!

Royal Enfield recently launched the Goan Classic 350, a bobber styled motorcycle which is based upon the Classic 350. The bike remains mechanically unchanged and is powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which makes 20PS and 27Nm, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield has done major changes to the Classic 350 to make the Goan Classic 350 such as a new subframe, a new ape-hanger exhaust and much more.

The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 starts from Rs 2,35,000 to Rs 2,38,000 (both prices ex-showroom, Chennai). Let’s have a look at what other alternatives you can consider at the same price:

    Jawa 42 Bobber

Price: From Rs 2,11,887 to 2,31,850

The Jawa 42 Bobber is the direct rival of the Goan Classic 350. It gets a classic bobber design which includes a floating rear seat, relaxed riding postures, rear fender attached to the swingarm and bar-end mirrors. The motorcycle is powered by a 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which makes 30.64PS and 32.74Nm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle is available in both spoke and alloy wheels and gets disc brakes with dual-channel ABS at both ends

    KTM 250 Duke

    Price: Rs 2,45,115

The KTM 250 Duke is a street naked motorcycle which gets aggressive looks and a potent 250cc engine that makes 31PS and 25Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The 250 Duke shares its chassis with its elder sibling the KTM 390 Duke and offers a sporty ride. KTM recently updated the 250 Duke with a TFT display which gives the motorcycle riding modes and a brand-new all-black colour scheme which looks menacing. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends and gets LED lights all-round.

    Suzuki V-Strom SX

    Price: Rs 2,11,600

If you are looking to ride long distances and want a comfortable motorcycle, look no further than the Suzuki V-Strom SX, an adventure motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer. It gets a refined 249cc oil-cooled engine which makes 26.5PS and 22.2Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle shares many components with its siblings, the Gixxer 250, such as the LED lights, LCD screen and the main frame. The bike rides on 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear alloy wheel.

    Triumph Speed 400

    Price: Rs 2,40,000

The Triumph Speed 400 is a neo-retro style naked motorcycle which is a result of a collaboration between Triumph and Bajaj. The bike gets great finish levels and Triumph has paid great attention to detail to make sure the bike lives up to the company’s name. It is powered by a 398.15cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which makes 40PS and 37.5Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends and gets LED lights all-round. Triumph recently updated the Speed 400 with new colours and tyres which have significantly increased the ride and handling on the motorcycle.

    Harley-Davidson X440

Price: From Rs 2,39,500 to 2,79,500

Harley-Davidson X440 is a modern roadster motorcycle which gets a relaxed riding posture. The bike is manufactured by Hero Motocorp and is powered by a 440cc single-cylinder air & oil-cooled engine which makes  27PS and 38Nm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The top-end variant gets a TFT screen and rides on a 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel. It is available in both spoke and alloy wheels. The motorcycle shares its platform with the Hero Mavrick 440 and gets LED lights all around.

Great bike to ride, comfortable cruiser, feel safe, awesome colour combination, balance is perfect, sitting is most comfortable, very nice for long travel and riding on hills, super sturdy glamorous bike to fall in love with it, mileage is also very good considering its 350 cc engine and weight, must buy.

      The 350cc bobber segment killer
It is the most stylish, eye-catching & attractive bike on a 350cc segment from royal enfield till now. With a much smoother and refined engineering from previous 350cc segments by Royal Enfield, they have really curated the best bobber which will not only grab attention but satisfy a riders soul and passion for such bikes. If you like attention and a very smooth engine with much untapped power go for this. Its the 350 bobber segment killer. Till now i have driven 900 kms in 2.5 months with the first service done, i have face zero issues with the bike. There maybe some glitches in the electronics in the much earlier builts but later they have improved those till now no issues in Engine & electronics! I was going for TVS Apache 310rtr but change my taste and segment after test riding this bike never liked any cafe racer or bobber styled bikes but this machine convince me to enter in this segment.
