The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 has been finally launched in India. Unlike many modern bikes that are filled to the brim with features, the Bullet 650 stays true to its retro DNA. It blends timeless styling and character with only the basic features, offering modern-day practicality without taking away its ‘vintage’ appeal. Here’s a closer look at its features:

Convenience Features

The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 has an analogue speedometer and a small digital inset that displays the odometer, trip meter, and the fuel gauge. It also gets the Tripper navigation pod, which provides turn-by-turn navigation through Google Maps and doubles up as a digital clock when not in use. Royal Enfield has also equipped the bike with a USB Type A charging port under the left-hand-side switchgear. 

As compared to the Bullet 350, the 650 has an LED headlight and tail-light, however it has the halogen pilot lights above the headlight. 

Safety Features

On the safety front, the Bullet 650 comes equipped with front and rear disc brakes along with dual-channel ABS as standard. This significantly improves braking confidence, especially on wet or unpredictable roads, or while panic braking. Another safety feature present is the side-stand down engine cut-off sensor. It also gets a slip-and-assist clutch, to make gear shifts easier and relatively jerk-free.
