Honda will be introducing its improvised version of 2012 Honda CBR 250R in Indian bike market in March 2012. Honda have made some improvisations in some key areas of Honda CBR 250R, and will releasing this latest machine in next month. Honda, the Japanese bike maker, has done some cosmetic changes to their new 2012 Honda CBR 250R. They have given a new look to the bike by adding new pearl Hero Blue Tri-Colour. The plastic quality that is used in manufacturing the body has also been improvised.  2012 Honda CBR 250R will be more frugal and faster with change in the ECU map. These small improvisations will result in better performance of the vehicle. Honda is also offering the new ECU map structure to existing Honda CBR 250R bikes.

People who want to own the new 2012 Honda CBR 250R will have to spend additional Rs. 3,000. In coming days, 2012 Honda CBR 250R will be available in more colors. Honda is planning to give more color and shade options to the 2012 Honda CBR 250R owner. This would be a major  plus point for  Honda because KTM Duke 200 is available only in Orange livery. 2012 Honda CBR 250R and KTM Duke 200 both have single cylinder engine and have the capacity to produce 25 bhp. The new ECU map in 2012 Honda CBR 250R can make difference now. Honda CBR  offers 23 Nm torque which is better than Duke, but Honda CBR weighs more than Duke. But Honda CBR offers many other features, such as combi-ABS brakes.

Honda has put the production of previous version of Honda CBR 250R on hold in view of its newer version of 2012 Honda CBR 250R. Recently KTM Duke 200 was launched in all the Bajaj showrooms across India. KTM Duke 200 is available for a price which is Rs. 20,000 lesser than 2012 Honda CBR 250R. This was one of the major reasons for upgradation. The Japanese bike maker showed concerns that KTM Duke 200 might give a stiff competetion to Honda CBR 250R because of the price factor.
