- The TVS Jupiter 125 will likely be powered by a derivation of the TVS NTorq 125’s engine.
- Expect the scooter to have smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation at least as an option.
- Will compete with the Suzuki Access 125, Honda Activa 125, Yamaha Fascino 125, and the Hero Destini 125.4
Looks like TVS is getting ready with yet another launch scheduled on October 7. The Hosur-based company’s latest teaser video on social media shows indicators with integrated LED DRLs. Interestingly, the shape of the indicators is similar to the 110cc TVS Jupiter, possibly indicating that the upcoming two-wheeler could indeed be the TVS Jupiter 125.
The TVS Jupiter 125 is likely to be powered by a derivation of the TVS NTorq 125’s engine. In the sporty scooter, the three-valve 124.8cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor churns out 9.38PS and 10.5Nm (standard variant). Expect the Jupiter 125’s heart to be tuned for efficiency rather than outright performance to suit its character.
The scooter will likely carry over the same set of underpinnings as its 110cc sibling. This includes the telescopic front fork, three-step rear monoshock, 12-inch wheels at both ends, a 220mm disc up front (could be offered as an option), and a 130mm drum at the rear.

Its arch-rival and the highest-selling 125cc scooter in the country, the Suzuki Access 125, gets smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. So we expect the Jupiter 125 to have it too, at least as an option. Other features, including the silent starter, start-stop function, LED headlamp, and apron-mounted utility compartment with a USB charging port will likely be carried over from the 110cc Jupiter. Expect TVS to price the Jupiter 125 somewhere around Rs 70,000-Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom). Apart from the Access 125, the TVS Jupiter 125 will also compete with the Honda Activa 125, Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi, and the Hero Destini 125. The Jupiter 125 slots right between the smaller 110cc Jupiter and the more powerful and sporty TVS NTorq 125. It will also be the company’s first 125cc family-oriented scooter, aimed to disrupt the Access 125’s domination.
TVS Jupiter 125 User Reviews
Family-oriented scooter and comfortable for city rides with soft suspension and reliability of TVS. The Jupiter is itself a very big name in the scooter market for over a decade and provides the complete, balanced package. The scooter is smooth, and the space is more than enough, the only problem is that it doesn't give confidence during overtakes. The service centre experience is also not good, but overall the scooter is a complete package. Yes, 100% to people who are looking for a no-nonsense scooter with comfort and space on daily rides from point A to B with decent power dynamics and a lot of space, and the scooter provides all required features.Read More
Overall best for family use. Features and performance are great, assist works bit laggy, when compared to final model, kicker is good but display experience varies. I take home 1,16700 on 07/07/2026, Trijal motors Bengaluru. Maintenance must be frequent for breaks. Seating capacity is best it holds two helmets. Good for metro cities.Read More

Self start is also best in class. Over all best 125 cc scooter in the segment. Speed is decent for city ride, mileage is fair enough with east of refueling. Parts availability is also good never faced any problem with that. Engine cut feature is amazing and quick reactive. Overall best in class in terms of ride quality. Yes for sure. Best for anyone who is looking for a city ride. Family friendly with easy to drive even for lady drivers. Scooter is little on a heavier side but that should not be any issue if you are an experienced driverRead More
