The second largest two wheeler manufacturer in India, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI), celebrates the World Environment Day for the 14th consecutive year. The company has started its week long celebrations on the occasion at it’s Manesar Factory, Haryana and across all India dealership network. In tune with this year’s theme “Raise your voice not the sea level”, Honda is celebrating “Environment Week from 5th June -11th June’14.
Mr. Keita Muramatsu- President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, flagged off the celebrations with a tree plantation at the factory. This was followed by environment pledge taken by all Honda associates to stay committed towards environment protection in their work areas and day to day lives.
“Preserving the environment is top of the mind for us at Honda. As a responsible corporate, Honda announced it’s global vision of 30% CO2 reduction by 2020 and in India too, we are actively contributing to build a greener tomorrow. The same reflects in our processes, technology and plant architecture,” Mr. Keita Muramatsu said at the event.
Honda works on a holistic approach of environment preservation through it’s Green Factory, Green Dealer & Green Supplier concept.
Honda has installed ‘Waste Heat Recovery Boilers to recover waste energy. Most of the waste water is recycled and reused within the factory. Various employee engagement programs including in-house training, slogan & poster making competitions are organized to encourage increased participation.
Special initiatives are planned at the dealership and society level. Free PUC check-up, sapling distribution for customers will be conducted at dealerships. More plantations and clean up drives will also be carried out at nearby public places.
Additionally, in collaboration with Haryana State Pollution Board (HSPCB), an awareness campaign, themed around promotion of “eco-friendly bags and non-usage of plastic bags was initiated”.

This is a very good two wheeler, it gives good results I request that it be given some sports look 🥀
I've owned this bike for over three years now, and what I adore most about it is the rumbling melody emanating from the exhaust. While it may not boast the finest tune, it holds a special place in my heart. This bike is rugged, requiring minimal upkeep, yet remarkably comfortable. My affection for it knows no bounds.
I have used the Dream Yuga for a total of 1 year. I adore this bike, particularly for its comfort, mileage, and minimal maintenance requirements.
